Hello all together,

my name is Marc, I`m 46 years old and located in the middle of germany - near Frankfurt am Main.

Many years I dreamed about an Stormtrooper armor. This week I ordered one at moviefx.

I choosed the ANH Stunt.

Now waiting for delivery ;)

I am sorry for my bad english - my scotch is much better

Greetings from the Wetterau

Hallo Marc,
Willkommen! Dein Englisch ist großartig! Obwohl ich den Scotch vielleicht auch bevorzugen! Lol.

Bitte stellen Sie Fragen, wenn Sie welche haben.

Wird deine Rüstung sofort abgenutzt?

Oh and when will it arrive?

Hi Craig,

thank you for your warm welcome in my native language :)

I think the questions will come a lot when I get my armor - I am very excited.

The seller told me I will get it till halloween.

Hi Marc and welcome to the FISD!  Congrats on your armor purchase and I hope it is everything you have ever dreamed of.  Yes this can be a very expensive hobby.  Just wait.  Most people start off with one costume and then start adding many more into their closet!  It can be addicting.  Have fun!

Don't worry about that, Marc - and welcome to FISD. :)

Ask any question you have. Many of us have been where you are now.

Once completely suited up, you can request pre-approval here before officially submitting for basic approval in the German Garrison.

Good luck and best regards from NRW ;)

Wilkommen, Marc. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

I don’t think I’ve heard of MovieFX before so looking forward to seeing what they offer.

Best wishes

hey Dan, thank you for your welcome.

I am looking forward too :laugh1:

moviefx is a german „manufacture“ (I do not know if munfacture is correct)

I talked to him a several times - so I had a good feeling and ordered there

he knows a lot of the standards you need for the approval, so I think I did the right choice (hopefully)

tomorrow I have an appointment for the fitting of the armor - I am very excited

today I get my Jodhpur boots - now I must paint them white. First step I cleaned them with aceton.

I will take some photos of every step I do - when I am finish, I will load them up

You do have a makers mark pressed into the boot at the rear, this may be a problem if your GML (garrison membership liaison) picks it up as there should be no markings.

Nice family! It’s hard to tell in your suited up armor photo from the angle, but if you think the shoes look darker than the armor, you may consider an additional layer of paint. Keep up the good work!
