If you can notice there is a slight angle on the lower section on the references 20 minutes ago, TK-42134 said: Also, I’m calling my belt done. Appears your holster straps are a little on the angle, perhaps riveted a bit too wide on the belt, may not get noticed. Also make sure when kitting up your drop boxes align with the end of the plastic belt 1 Quote

TK-42134[TK] Posted July 7, 2022 Author Report Posted July 7, 2022 Phase one of gluing the sniper knee down. Once the two spot cure, I will glue the last point that makes contact with the thigh.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Quote
TK-42134[TK] Posted July 8, 2022 Author Report Posted July 8, 2022 Woohooo! Got the last part on my knee gluing down for 24 hours. This time tomorrow, the major construction of all my limbs will be complete. Also, I sanded down the big ab button plate. I’m thinking it still needs a tad off on the sides, but wanted to check in with you guys for input. Here is a photo with them together.Looking forward to see what you guys have to say. This weekend I will be gluing the rest of my snaps in on my bells and arms. Then I will most likely move on to sewing my strapping system together.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted July 8, 2022 Report Posted July 8, 2022 Nice work, definitely a little more off the large ab plate Quote

TK-42134[TK] Posted July 9, 2022 Author Report Posted July 9, 2022 Painted a rivet on my Ammo Knee. Once it’s pretty dry I’ll flip it and do the other side. Also, I started to make the inner connections. Did the back side so far. Next I’ll do my thighs, and work on the front.…..and I have my ab button plates gluing.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Quote

TK-42134[TK] Posted July 10, 2022 Author Report Posted July 10, 2022 Good morning troopers. Gonna start the mad push to finishing this TK up. All snaps have been glued inside my limbs. I will show pictures later. I took the clamps and tape off my ab plates, here is what it ended up looking like.My plan today is to measure out the strapping for my arms and get them in. I want to start the straps on my thighs. Let’s see how far I can get.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 3 Quote
TK-42134[TK] Posted July 10, 2022 Author Report Posted July 10, 2022 After putting my undershirt on I’ve run into a problem. I guess it may not be a bad one. My right bicep feels a little tighter than it did when I made the initial cut on it. I’m thinking all the heavy lifting of hundreds of wine boxes is giving me a little more muscle mass than I had before. I have decided to trim the return edge off the fronts of my biceps to see if this will remedy the situation. Here is the before picture.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
TK-42134[TK] Posted July 10, 2022 Author Report Posted July 10, 2022 Finished them. Took me out of my comfort zone a little bit, but managed to get them down. I’ll try fitting them after I run an errand.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted July 10, 2022 Report Posted July 10, 2022 Nice work, you can find when you first start walking around and moving some adjustments need to be made. Almost there. 1 Quote
TK-42134[TK] Posted July 17, 2022 Author Report Posted July 17, 2022 (edited) Good afternoon. Well, I started making the strapping system. Here’s what will hold my thighs up. I connected the kidney and an plates with the split rivets. I covered them with the loop side of Industrial strength velcro. But for some reason I used white, I’ll have to switch it to black. So I did an initial test fitting, and I came up with an obstacle. It seems that the chest and back plates do not line up properly. Here’s what it looks like. These are off my back side. Left side: Right side: After I lined the chest plate up different, the met up like this. Left side: Right side: I would like to make the shoulder straps, but this kinda threw me off. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Edited July 17, 2022 by TK-42134 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted July 17, 2022 Report Posted July 17, 2022 Here's an AM EIB for comparison, not sure what version AM the kit was Another EIB AM here I think you will find once you have the shoulder straps positioned you won't notice the difference. I add the shoulder strapping first, hang over a box or mannequin if you have one, then align the shoulder straps so they meet with the backplate, add some tape to the sides and front so you know how to put them back in the same position, once you are happy with the location then rough up with sandpaper and glue and clamp. Also common problem with Anovos it appears Quote
