In January we submitted our armors for basic approval and passed it. We then decided to update the few parts that we hadn't initially built to the Level 2 and Level 3 standards and are now appliying for the next levels of approvement. Since we built the armors together almost every mechanism, closure method and solution to strapping problems is the same - there are small individual differences but nothing major. We took our new approvement photos before a green screen in our living room with a set up to lights over a couple of days so lighting and background should be consistent in all three of our applications. Thank you very much for your time! Edited September 11, 2020 by Dani change hoster to IMGUR 2 Quote

shashachu[TK] Posted September 10, 2020 Report Posted September 10, 2020 @Dani I really like the mods you made to the abdomen to fit your smaller frame. Great job with your build. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 11, 2020 Report Posted September 11, 2020 Nice work there is some difference in the forearms from TFA to TLJ which you may want to address A couple of adjustments you could make: Butt plate is not level on the rear Also your belt appears to be higher on the rear, over the ab section 1 Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted September 11, 2020 Report Posted September 11, 2020 Fantastic work Daniela, looking forward to seeing you on the other side. Quote

TKSpartan[Staff] Posted September 21, 2020 Report Posted September 21, 2020 Hi Daniela, and thank you for your EIB application! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required photos have been submitted, and on behalf of the entire D.O. staff we are pleased to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry. Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly; In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armour. FOTKs are always amazing and yours is a nice set of armor, most of the items in this area are simple dressing/strapping issues that you could consider to check every time when putting on your armor. Starting from top: Your helmet seems to be riding a bit high in comparison with most seen onscreen. Not a deal breaker for Level 3 by any means, I had this same issue with my Anh Tk due to have excess padding in the top, removing or reducing it will help it ride a bit lower and looks more accurate . Reference Images Your neck seal looks fantastic and although you have the correct number of ribs and shiny finish as required, It should ideally have the zipper closure in the front. Reference Images Your ab belt looks to have some misalignment front a rear. This could be solved by tightening a bit or by adding some velcro behind it . Esay fix! Reference Images Reference Images Looking at your TD from the side, there's a noticeable gap between your TD and the backplate that you may want to make some adjustment to reduce it. Reference Images We are suggesting trimming your cod and posterior plate to better reflect the angle as seen in TLJ. Note in the reference images that the bottom part is thinner and actually curves underneath. Reference Images Reference Images Rotating thighs inwards would avoid the inside seams can be seen, it will also reduce the black area between the thighs and cod as well as move the thigh away from the posterior plate as they appear to be hitting on the rear. Reference Images *************************************************** Centurion Requirements; In this section we prepare you for Centurion. Because Centurion photos show more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here and additional photos may be required. We try to point out all that we can from what we see, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Something to be aware of is that the tops of your forearms have a curve (as seen in TFA) rather than a slight angle as seen in TLJ Reference Images It looks like your TD mount and TD plate are one piece, and although not specifically mentioned in the CRLs (not yet) they must be 2 separate components. Reference Images I love those FOTK fantastic looking blasters, sharp lines, working lights, amazing. unfortunately yours has some details seen in TFA not in TLJ. A rectangular "D-ring" must be present, and both it and the mount need to be white. Reference Images Another small detail that is missing from your weapon is the presence of a light mount on the barrel also known as Picatinny (Pic) rail . You can find it online on several types and sizes Reference Images And that's it, Daniela ! Congratulations for a great set of armor and we are confident that you can give a couple of steps more a get Centurion level soon ! Quote

Dani[TK] Posted September 22, 2020 Author Report Posted September 22, 2020 Hey everyone, thank you so much for taking the time to respond, react and give feedback to my armor. =) I started out in Star Wars costumes five years ago after seeing TFA with a Rey costume - I always loved the dark side but to be honest with me being 1,66m and not knowing shucks about armors, I thought trooping next to my boyfriends Kylo Ren as one of this Stormtroopers would be near impossible. Well, life is strange and amazing and here we are years, costumes and experiences later and we both have Level 2 approved Stormtroopers during a pandemic. What is life even. I am beyong honered to be #1001 (feels like a great number) in the Expert Infantry and I am very much looking forward to work on the required changes for Centurion status. Thanks a lot folks, this community is a great batch. I'll be back! 2 Quote
