Nice work trooper, a couple of suggestions.

 

Watch the spacing of your armor, thigh is hitting the butt plate, it is also being pushed backward leaving a gap in the sides, biceps are also not equal

 

 

Belt boxes are not quite aligned with the end of the belt

 

 

You are probably just on the edge of paint on leaving the teeth Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area., wouldn't hurt to take off a little paint but may not be picked on.

 

 

TD screws should be black, there should be no gap from the end caps to the clips, also screws on the clips could be closer to the panel.

 

There is a little gouged out area under your cover strip, you could add a little ABS paste

 

 

You will need photos of the sides of your sniper plate.

Also thigh ammo strip rivets inside and out.

As Glen mentioned, we will need a few more photos (no need to get suited up).  He also pointed out the paint on the teeth.  As this is actually a requirement for Basic, we are asking that you spend a few minutes with a cotton swab/toothpick and some (non acetone) paint remover to take a little off the tops, as seen below.  Looking forward to seeing the results and new photos so that we can get that EI badge under your name!

The dressing issues I'll look at tonite , I'll lengthen the straps that hold up my thighs a little bit , and tighten up the elastic loops holding my butt plate up . Hopefully this will help the alignment . I'll do it and post a photo .

The biceps aren't attached to the shoulder bell, so the uneven biceps in one of the shots was a dressing issue that I am aware of and will address .
The teeth I'll sort also , no big deal . Photos when done .

The TD is an issue . Of course I can paint my screws better, and move the brackets out a bit ...but if I drill the lower hole to be nearer the end of the strap, I'm left with a vacant un-screen accurate empty hole .
My brackets are first issue RS from years ago ( as is the whole suit) and I know they are using screen accurate alloy brackets these days . I may have to shoot over there and buy the later brackets .

Ok, on to the upgrade list .
First those darn teeth ....
A craft nice slice and a screwdriver tip brought the edge paint off better than I could wish for .

A little touch up and hopefully it's ok .

I'll post a final pic when the paint is dry .

Next the drop boxes . Schoolboy error here , as I'd let the elastic loop holding them onto the belt slip inside the popper attaching the belt to the stomach . Taking the belt off and putting the elastic loop in the correct place brought the boxes in line with the edge of the belt .

Next that dMn butt plate . My thigh suspenders have two poppers , Ive dropped them to the second popper .

This lowers the thighs a tad , and gives more clearance .
When trooping I always use the lower popper , but I thought for the photos I'd use the higher one ...doh .
The other problem was that the elastic holding the butt to the backplate had lost its elasticity due to age and fatigue . Replacing the elastic holds everything in a better position

I've taken it to pieces and painted the screw heads satin black enamel .
Tomorrow I'll attack the alloy brackets .

That TD issue .
I've re drilled the holes and re positioned the ally brackets .
I've filled the old holes with silver two part epoxy .

When sat in the " on the belt" position the old holes are invisible . The photos above were taken outside in strong sunlight .
