I just finished my Doopydoos SE-14R, with some modifications. I added some greeblies and details to make the pistol more interesting, seeing as this model has minimal details. This is my first blaster build, but I have experience with 28 mm scale miniature painting so I used what I learned about putties, sanding, priming, dry brushing for weathering effects, etc. I used a satin black finish for the scope and body with the handle painted in gloss black. I dry brushed with acrylic gunmetal and brass metallic paints for weathering. Actual metal parts include screws and rings which, along with some thin ABS pieces, helped me cover up the otherwise flawed mold of the scope mount. I added a section of PVC pipe to give the scope some more "heft" to mimic scope clamps, which aren't included in this model.
