gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted July 22, 2020 Report Posted July 22, 2020 Nice work, something that stands right out which you may want to correct before the DO's see your application is your shin closing, they need to close outside over inside you have them opposite, this is so the opening can not be seen from the outside. Also the cover strips should stop before the ridge on the bottom of your thighs and also on the top of your shins. Cover strips should also stop above the lower thigh ridge on the front also Although a weapon is optional for basic approval it is a requirement for EIB 2 Quote

Also you will need either a blaster or lightsaber: "While blasters (weapons) are not required for basic approval, for EIB and Centurion levels they are, and may need upgrades (also listed in the CRL)." 2 Quote

TKSpartan[Staff] Posted July 23, 2020 Report Posted July 23, 2020 Hola Leonardo, Excelente Armadura !! Buena suerte . Trooper Hi Leonardo, Great Armor !! Mean while one of us in the D.O team is assigned to your application, Just a couple of details: 1- Could you please add a close photo of the Chest/Back connection 2- Close photo of the Sniper Knee both sides 3- Make the fix to the shins closing as Glen pointed before. Good Luck Trooper! 1 Quote
TK-28046[TK] Posted July 23, 2020 Author Report Posted July 23, 2020 (edited) All the details noted: 1- Could you please add a close photo of the Chest/Back connection 2- Close photo of the Sniper Knee both sides 3- Make the fix to the shins closing as Glen pointed before. Aditionally: E-11 Hasbro modified blaster. 1. Folding stock is placed in the closed position. 2. No ammo counter shall be present. 3. D-ring mounted on the rear. 4. Sterling based blasters have the correct M-38 or M-19 style scope. The M-19 scope is preferred. 5. No power cylinders on the magazine housing. 6. If using the Hasbro E11 toy blaster, it is modified to have the correct number of T-tracks (6 total), with a lower row of open vent holes on the magazine housing side. This is accomplished by covering the pre-existing rows of holes with T-tracks, then grinding off the lower integrated T-track on the magazine housing side, and drilling a new row of holes in its place. Finally, the holster for the E-11 (cat is not part of the kit). For ANH Stunt and Hero The holster is worn on left side of belt and is attached via two leather or leather-like material straps to the belt from behind instead of front. No loops cover the outside of the belt. For ANH Stunt, the holster is affixed with only two fasteners at the bottom (one per strap). Fasteners may be rivets, snaps, or Chicago screws. Hope all the requirements are now complete @TKSpartan @gmrhodes13! Edited July 25, 2020 by TK-28046 Adding info 1 Quote
I'm sad to say we have some bad news for you, sir. Unfortunately, there are several items that are stopping you from reaching Expert Infantry level at this time. 1. Your armor has way too much weathering. As stated in the CRL for Level 2, the various components are "..lightly scuffed... but not weathered like a Sandtrooper", so much of it will have to be removed/toned down. CRL reference CRL Reference CRL Reference Video game reference Video game reference CRL Reference Video game reference 2. Although the kidney and posterior plate must be connected (as you have it), the overall length is just too long and lacks any "contour" shape, causing it to ride too low behind you and sit too far away from your body in the lower rear section. It would take some work, but you might think about reducing the length by cutting it down as shown in the diagram and then re-connecting it for a MUCH better appearance. Since TKC is based on ROTJ armor, I am including a reference photo of how it should "ideally" look. TKC example ROTJ screen capture reference 3. 3. As listed in the CRL "The helmet is accurate in detail and proportion to official references". As you can see in the video game and screen used reference images below, the eye openings are nearly identical on both sides. Although some asymmetry is expected, unfortunately the size/shape of your left eye opening does not match the right one closely enough. Video game reference ROTJ screen used helmet references 4. 4. For TKC Level 2, the E-11 must be either the ESB or ROTJ type and not have an ammo counter. We honestly hope you can take the time to work on this armor to get it looking even better, but we are sorry to say that the helmet will need to be replaced because of the left eye opening. If we can be of any help, please let us know! Quote
