Echo3_Skywalker[TK] Posted August 18, 2021 Author Report Posted August 18, 2021 Hey everyone! I have made some progress mostly trimming return edges and re-fitting everything. I tried (mostly) everything on together I did notice I was having an issue with the back plate falling i think i need to adjust the shoulders a little so they sit on my shoulders, Also my arm pieces kept rotating when I was trying to get pictures but nothing is attached yet, here are some pictures! 2 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted August 18, 2021 Report Posted August 18, 2021 Nice work, you will find with some armor you may need to trim between some of the pieces, your cod is sitting very low over your thighs but to bring the ab up you will need to reduce the length of the back pieces or they will overlap. Here a few builds you may want to look at with info on how to reduce armor pieces. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38416-crickets-rs-stunt-build-for-the-vertically-challenged/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/38842-fragarocks-rs-stunt-build-not-to-scale/ https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/42868-sha-shas-wtf-anh-stunt-build-complete/ Quote

gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted August 30, 2021 Report Posted August 30, 2021 Looking good. You may be able to bring your ab plate up a little more, this would give you a little more room between the cod and the top of the thighs. If not you may have to trim the top of the thighs to give you a gap so you aren't rubbing when moving. Quote
Echo3_Skywalker[TK] Posted September 1, 2021 Author Report Posted September 1, 2021 I have started attaching cover strips and straps! 2 Quote
fishgoh0nk[TK] Posted September 1, 2021 Report Posted September 1, 2021 A trick I learned when doing mine, if gluing on cover strips one side at a time, start with the side that faces outward first, so you can get a flush seam on the more exposed/visible side. This is because the second side may be a bit more difficult getting super flush as you've already locked down the first. Sometimes I had to use locking clamps to secure a flush seam as the rigidity of the cover strip and the armor may be a bit stubborn. Also when using locking clamps, don't press too hard, I've managed to squeeze all the e6000 out of the cracks it didn't adhere at all, hours wasted >< 4 Quote
Sly11[Admin] Posted September 3, 2021 Report Posted September 3, 2021 Good tip by James above, and pretty much the same process i take when adding cover strips. 1 Quote
