Well, looks like RS prop masters is selling HDPE helmets again... for display only due to the fragile nature of the paint.

I would buy as a kit myself, not a completed helmet, there’s not enough fun in that for me.

I need to do some more research, what it this "green" plastic?

And for $650 I could get another kit... :-)

I'm sure these are amazing. I hope all that want one get one.

The "real" ANH Stunts weren't made out of white ABS but instead out of that weird green HDPE. They were painted then. That we here use white ABS is a durability and usability optimization to prevent paint flaking off and messing up the armor.
