LorahJanin Posted December 30, 2019 Report Posted December 30, 2019 Heyo! Brand new to this 501st group and to most things Cosplay/costuming. I'd done some in Highschool but nothing elaborate. But i am excited to start this journey! I'm hoping to get armor going soon (once I have a bit more saved up) and join in with my friend who's also started hers. She's a clone trooper and I'm hoping to get the Arc trooper Armour/ helmet! Anywho! So happy to have joined a group as amazing as this one! :) Quote
giskard8[Staff] Posted December 30, 2019 Report Posted December 30, 2019 Hello Cheryl, Welcome to FISD. We are specialized for all things Stromtrooper, you can find building tips and all sort of thing related here. But for Clone Troopers, the CTD is The Place to go, they are the real specialist on all things clone: https://501stclonetroopers.com/ Quote

Welcome, Cheryl! If you are going for Clone trooper, you have quite a selection to choose from! https://databank.501st.com/databank/Costuming:CTN_CRL As Arthur suggested, the clone trooper detachment will be able to get you started on your journey. wook1138[TK] Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 (edited) Welcome fellow Canadian! Congrats on starting your trooper journey. As mentioned above, check out the clone troopers detachment. That said, there are tons of general trooper costuming info and how-to's on this forum. Good luck with your build! lucnak[TK] Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 Hi Cheryl, welcome to the FISD! Many have already pointed you to the CTD. I would also suggest you join your local unit's forums depending on where you live to connect with some of your local 501st folks! Handling at troops is so helpful and it's a great way to meet folks and ask questions! Quote
