justjoseph63[Staff] Posted December 27, 2019 Report Posted December 27, 2019 Nice work, Carsten, and thanks for your submission! Before we can move forward, we can you add a close-up photo of the cod and posterior tab showing the rivet and snaps (exterior view) as well as a close-up of the tops of your boots? Thanks!!! Sidius[TK] Posted December 27, 2019 Author Report Posted December 27, 2019 Ok thanks - no poblem: Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted December 27, 2019 Report Posted December 27, 2019 Nice work trooper, a couple of other pics the DO's like are: * Front and both sides of the knee sniper plate * Thigh ammo strip rivets outside and inside * TD showing front panel * D ring on rear of blaster * Close up of ab rivets A few things you may want to address while waiting for the DO's: With your teeth area you could remove some paint from the gums: Frown is painted gray and does not leave the teeth area. You could also straighten the brow trim, it appears higher in the centre Appears your left shin is closing inside over outside so the opening can be seen from the outside, they should close outside over inside You may want to lengthen the drop box straps, they appear tight and push outwards. Also thigh coverstrips should stop above the bottom thigh ridge Belt could come down a little too as it's covering the lower button A few tweaks and I'm sure you'll do fine, good luck 3 Quote
Sidius[TK] Posted December 28, 2019 Author Report Posted December 28, 2019 Ok, first here are the pictures of the blaster (d ring): Quote
msouza[TK] Posted January 2, 2020 Report Posted January 2, 2020 Carsten, Along with the paint on the frown or teeth area that gmrhodes13 pointed out the rear left calf will have to be fixed prior to going any further, as this is a requirement for Basic. The cover strip edge shall be facing the inside of the leg. 1 Quote
Sidius[TK] Posted January 2, 2020 Author Report Posted January 2, 2020 Hi, none of this should be such a big problem - of course i'll do it all! But that could take a few days since I'm currently on vacation... 1 Quote

Sidius[TK] Posted January 6, 2020 Author Report Posted January 6, 2020 (edited) So, the vacation is over and the next batch of photos is coming! First the newly glued calves (closed outside over inside): Front and both sides of the knee sniper plate: Different views (front panel) of the TD: Close ups of the abdomen rivets: The rest will follow soon... Sidius[TK] Posted January 11, 2020 Author Report Posted January 11, 2020 Ok, here comes the next run of photos... Now the thight coverstripes stops above the button thigh ridge: Thigh ammo strip rivets outside and inside (both sides): Now only the photos of the helmet are missing, right? Quote
Sidius[TK] Posted January 12, 2020 Author Report Posted January 12, 2020 And now, here comes the helmet... - Now the grey painted frown does not leave the teeth area. - the brow is straighten now 1 Quote

msouza[TK] Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 Hi Carsten, Thanks for your application for EIB and helping us continue towards our goal of 1000 EIB Troopers ! CRL and EIB Application Requirements All required photos are now in and, after review, we are pleased to welcome you to Expert Infantry rank. On behalf of the DO team and myself, many congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly In this area we review observations made by your fellow troopers and the DO team. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions With all apps we like to start from the top down, lets get started. First off I want to say great job on making the suggested changes, your "I got this" attitude really paid off. The only suggestion I could make would be your ear placement. Honestly this is one of the most overlooked parts of a build. Most are concerned with the fit and trying to get the gap to a minimum and tend to line the ear up with the seam to cover the rivets but you'll notice that the should be in line with the template traps. Reference Photos Next we'll move down to your shoulders. I'd like to see you try to get the tops of your bells touching your shoulder straps. I would start by trimming the return edge and tighten up the top strap a bit, that should get them to sit better. Reference Photo Next would be you belt boxes, Looks as if a bit of E-6000 is needed. Take a the first photo and you'll see how it hangs exactly as it should but then you'll also see how it tends to shift a bit. A little dab of E 6000 would have that staying perfectly aligned. Reference Photo Centurion Requirements In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustments. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items to pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all that we can from what is seen, but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Just like before we'll start from the top down. First up on your helmet is your Vocoder. Unfortunately, since the vocoder on your helmet is a separate piece and not molded into the helmet itself it cannot pass at Centurion level. Although not yet added to the CRL, this issue was voted on and approved last November. Here is the link: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/48294-proposed-amendment-to-ot-anhesbrotjhwt-etc-crls-helmetvocoder-detail/ Separate vocoder Reference Photo Onto your shoulder bells I think once you trim away the return edge on the bells this will help alot. There should be a minimal gap between the shoulder armor and the chest/back plates. Reference Photos Onto your Ab buttons Ab button paint shall not extend beyond the bottom of the actual raised button. No separate buttons are allowed. And the last thing on the list to touch on would be your kidney plate to ab. This should be an easy fix as it looks like you might need to do some more filling and a little repainting will do the trick. Ideally there no gap between the abdomen and kidney armor. Abdominal and Kidney Plate align horizontally at top. A single visible seam line is present. You've done an amazing job with the fix's you've made so far and I have no doubt that you can do it again to reach Centurion. Congratulations Trooper and welcome to EIB! 1 Quote
Sidius[TK] Posted January 26, 2020 Author Report Posted January 26, 2020 Hey Mike, many thanks to you and to the entire team for processing my request and for inclusion in the ranks of the EIB! I'm really happy!!! You wrote that there are not quite 1000 EIBs yet - what number am I now? In order to improve the overall impression of my costume, I'll continue to work on it ... however, I still have a few other projects ahead of me, that I've to work on first. Quote
giskard8[Staff] Posted January 26, 2020 Report Posted January 26, 2020 Congratulations trooper. Welcome to the ranks. From what I saw you should be #952, but let’s just wait for the DO to make a confirmation. 1 Quote

Sidius[TK] Posted January 31, 2020 Author Report Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) Hi mates! First of all, many thanks to all the well-wishers - I'm really happy to be a part of the troops! And then thank you for editing the headline of my topic with the my EIB-No. [952]... ...but unfortunatly a small mistake seems to have crept in: My TK-Number! Now it says "TK-22672" in the topic headline, but mine is "TK-11672"... Maybe that would have to be changed again - not that there is still a mix-up! Edited January 31, 2020 by Sidius Quote
shashachu[TK] Posted February 12, 2020 Report Posted February 12, 2020 @Sidius sorry about the delay - I just updated the post title to reflect the proper TKID. Congrats again 2 Quote
Sidius[TK] Posted February 12, 2020 Author Report Posted February 12, 2020 @shashachu First of all, thank you for your answer! I'm really sorry, but only there's been another little mistake... My TKID is 11672...not 12672. Soooorry for the inconvenience... Quote
