TKSpartan[Staff] Posted July 27, 2019 Report Posted July 27, 2019 Hi James, looking good on your armor. I would suggest some additional photos in advance, that surely the D.O.S will ask you to post: 1-Close up photos of where your shoulder bridges are connected to the chest, as well as the connection between the chest and back armor. Chest and back shall be connected with a white fabric or preferably elastic strap at the shoulders. 2- Close up of rivets inside and outside of thigh ammo strip. Thigh ammo belt is attached to thigh with a solid head rivet, painted white, in the upper corner and fastened to the lower thigh ridge. The rivets used shall be single cap, double cap or split rivets. No pop rivets allowed. Rivet should be approximately 5/16" (8mm) in diameter (exterior). 3- Close photos of both sides of Snipper knee, to see the alignment. Sniper knee plate must be aligned with the ridges on the shin. Sniper knee plate must not have visible rivets or fasteners attaching it to the shin. Any additional photos or requirements will be indicated by the official. Good luck !! Quote

TKSpartan[Staff] Posted July 29, 2019 Report Posted July 29, 2019 (edited) Hi, James. so fast posting your pictures. great job. I'm Sorry I forgot to tell you to post a close photo of your boots as per the CRL: Level two certification (if applicable): There is no seam present on the front of the boot. Boots have a black sole Looking at your armor lower back section, notice the two white snaps. As the CRL states: Two male snaps are present on the lower center tab of the Posterior Armor. Snaps do not need to be functional. Snaps are silver in color with the bottom of the snap facing outward and are not painted. You may want to remove the white color in advance before the D.O. Team review your application. cheers Edited July 29, 2019 by TKSpartan add info 1 Quote

TKSpartan[Staff] Posted July 29, 2019 Report Posted July 29, 2019 Great job James. !! Now, just a little patience should be neccesary for the D.O. TheSwede[TK] Posted August 7, 2019 Report Posted August 7, 2019 Hi again James and thank you for your EIB application. In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. Note that we consider both text (CRL) and pictures (screen caps/reference images) when reviewing submissions As we navigate through this review we are going to start from the top and work our way down. Starting with the helmet we suggest giving it a poke so it sits a bit more straight. Next up we have the posterior plate and some tighter strapping should keep it in check. The thigh ammo pack rivet appears to be a tad big and a bit to close to the corner compared to screen used suits, not a big deal but worth to mention for those striving for screen accuracy. Moving on to the shins we just like to mention that the ends of the sniper knee were trimmed with more of a straight line. Let´s move on! Centurion Requirements: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. Starting with the shoulder bells we need you to close that gap to a minimum and by the looks of things it should be as easy as just keeping your shoulders neutral. Moving on we have the Han-snap and it should be in the top corner, currently yours is to far in and needs to be moved. Rivets are to be painted white so some touching up is in order. The bracket screws could also use some paint while you´re at it, not mandatory though, just a suggestion keeping you looking sharp. Moving on to the belt is should come up just a smidgen for a crisp Centurion look. While looking at the cloth postion of the belt it´s suprising to see an RS belt crease like that, none the less it´s a no go for Centurion, as per L3: canvas belt must be firm/sturdy in appearance. No creasing or sagging. Lastly we have the dropboxes and a strategic dab of glue should do the trick in holding them were they need to be - at the end of the ammo belt. And that´s it, some small tweeks and it´s off to Centurion but first, enjoy beeing the newest Expert Infantry Man for the Empire 2 Quote
