Crimson Phoenix
So I finally got my armor. I got AP of course. I've already started on it, and cut some of the big pieces out to see if they'd fit. I used a dremel that I borrowed for my neighbor. Just seein' if it fits. It was ridiculous, I broke like 5 dremel blades already.
Daetrin[Admin]
Did you try the diamond tip cutter? Also for the big pieces some guys like using either tin snips or a hot exacto knife.

However, I only cut around the edges where I was actually supposed to cut. Cause I don't wanna screw it up by cutting ti close of something. I'll use a hot blade for the close stuff. Crimson Phoenix
I went down to see another member of the garrison, who helped me finish cutting out the rest of my armor. Not it's all sanded down and ready to be glued. I just took this cause I love Boba Fett. I finished sanding out the teeth and filing them down. Along with the eyes of course. Now I'm ready to drill, paint, and complete! I have to get me one of those belt sanders.... I must say. The bloody ear piece was the hardest and most annoying piece to cut out. Ah... the easiest piece. :] I'll keep you all posted on my progress.

Crimson Phoenix
Man.... finding that Admiral Grey was alot harder than I thought. Not one model store in town had it. It was ridiculous. So I went to Micheal's. Helmet 75% done!
themadguitarist
The build is looking good man! One polite suggestion though, trim the eyes back to get rid of the ridge. It will make your lid that much more slick.

Crimson Phoenix
I need to quickly paint up those screws.... Yeah... I need to cover up all those screws with something that won't stab my face anymore. Also put some kind of protective guard/rubber on the bottom of the visor... or else it's gonna give my nose a blister. But more or less........ I'm done, son! Hell to the yes! Crimson Phoenix
So this is my wonderful progress, thanks to Luke. We learned some new things about what not to use and what to use. And MY Armor should be finished by friday, if I don't finish it today! HIGH FIVE~!

Crimson Phoenix
Next was the split rivets for the kidney and ab plates.
Crimson Phoenix
We used pop rivets to attach the knee cap. So much easier, I should probably get one. Here.... my shin snapped under the pressure of the CA glue. Boo.. :[ The clamp jungle and this is the mysterious clamp crotch spider. only seen in garages of of North America. Yeah, I had someone help me size my shoulder bells later that night after I left Luke's. Now I have to pull out that sewing machine again or make new straps for my shoulders.
