I clam shell into my torso- I did it with black elastic and Centurion rivets.  The other side is standard Tandy snaps.  Definitely an advocate for the clam shell approach- one swift movement and your whole torso is on!  Then I have my shoulder bell/bicep/forearm all connected, so I slip each arm on in one go.  Very effective for quick in/quick out.  What are your 1 - 5 pieces made of?  Plastic or metal?

Plastic tubing, 1/4 From a Toilet line, Had to run the drill down em to get the pin to fit.

Both are so very close.

I suppose it would work on a full-size, but on my grandduaghter’s FN suit, I made a hinge just by lathering up a strip of nylon webbing with E-6000 7bac45872dfeecb51f89c9ec8b73affc.jpg

So update on this.

Top pic was V1

V2 and 3 were all not installed Concept designs

Drum roll Please (This is before I installed it, It works perfectly, takes me less than 10 sec to line the side up and pin in)

As one of my GML's say I have one of the most overly complex Armor's, (Interior strapping and electronics) and I absolutely love it

A lot of work but good on you for sticking with it. Anything seen from the outside?

Only took me about an Hour to Build. But way more than that thinking about it

Nothing other than a perfectly lined up right side

So it’s not an ab hinge... What is it for? Shins?

Its an Ab to kindey Connector, The hinge is on the left, this is for the right side

Ah, from your earlier post I thought maybe it was something else. You’ll have to post pics of it in use.

Keen to see this in practice.

Side note the hand shaking wasn't me straining to get the pin in, Little bit of Dehydration going on

Seems to work well, thanks for the video share.

Yeah, It completely solves any alignment issues on the right side.
