Digz Graavz[TK] Posted March 18, 2019 Author Report Posted March 18, 2019 Toronto Comicon March 15-17 2019. The 501st was out in force along with the Rebels. We had a great time with our Jabba set up and the new Moisture Vaporator addition. Lots of money raised for Make a Wish, and lots of smiling fans! My first con ever as a guest OR a trooper. I was a photographer for the Celebrity panels as my good friend was the moderator for them. I had Dan Fogler (Hutch from Fanboys!) sign a limited edition Stormtrooper skateboard for us as part of our raffle (that's me in the middle): The winners were thrilled. I had a good chance to talk with them. They're a whole family of geeks The kid said "You should see our house. The walls are covered in hats and posters" and the mom said "Oh, this is going on our wall!" 4 Quote

Featured guests were Chris Parsons, who played 4-LOM and K-3PO as well as snow and stormtroopers in ESB, and Jim Swearingen who was one of the original Kenner employees who designed a ton of the toys we all love (and was featured in "The Toys That Made Us". 2 Quote

Aug 9th - Ronald McDonald House Toronto Aug 10th - Toronto Bricks in the Six Aug 17th - Waterloo Airport Open House Aug 19th (first of 2) - Fan Expo Canada day at the CNE Aug 19th (2nd of 2) - Fan Expo/Lego display unveiling at Toronto Union Station Aug 22nd - Canadian Citizenship Ceremony at Fan Expo (welcomed 90 new Canadian citizens at their swearing in ceremony) Aug 22nd - Fan Expo Toronto (my son is the Jawa_ Aug 23rd - Breakfast Television (City TV Toronto) promoting the 501st, our charity work etc. and our presence at Fan Expo Aug 23rd - Fan Expo Toronto Aug 24th - Fan Expo Toronto Aug 25th - Fan Expo Toronto Pics to come...
