TheSwede[TK] Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Hi Chris and thank you for your EIB submission Before we can get started I need you to include the following pics showing: # The fixings of thigh ammo pack - inside/out. # Shots of sniper knee - left/right/front. # Outside posterior snaps. Thanks in advance and just to clarify - the EIB photo check list has not yet been updated to reflect the all the requirements set out in the CRL L2 Another small thing: the split rivet on the cod is not ment to be painted white (originals were brass) so if you feel like amending that as you provide the other pics you could 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Nice work, it appears you may have an air bubble in the bottom corner of the left decal, you may want to try to tease that out, a a very impolite person with a pin or lift the corner to release the air and push flat. Quote
Digz Graavz[TK] Posted March 9, 2019 Author Report Posted March 9, 2019 As requested: Thanks! I'll see what I can do about the cod rivet. Making it brassy will be fun. Quote

gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 The images you have posted you can't see the sniper plate covering the shin, you may want to take some more directly from the sides as shown below Quote
Digz Graavz[TK] Posted March 9, 2019 Author Report Posted March 9, 2019 Brassed out the rivet and got rid of the bubble! 1 Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted March 10, 2019 Report Posted March 10, 2019 Awesome work Chris! And that cod rivet! wow really loving you going the extra mile on that one - only ment removing the paint Quote
Digz Graavz[TK] Posted March 10, 2019 Author Report Posted March 10, 2019 Yeah but it's a steel rivet so.... maybe I'll paint a mini Threepio face on it LOL 1 Quote

TheSwede[TK] Posted March 11, 2019 Report Posted March 11, 2019 Hi again Chris and thank you for your EIB application! In this review I will ensure that your armor follows the requriments set out in the CRL L2 Expert Infantry Badge and also point out what I can to prepare you for Centurion, should you choose to apply. I hope you do! Let´s get started shall we! CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All required submission photos have been posted and I am very pleased to announce your armor displays all the necessary elements to qualify for ANH Stunt Expert Infantry. On behalf of myself and the entire D.O.Team, Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. As we navigate through this review we are going to start with the helmet and work our way down. You have already added white paint to the rims of the Hovi´s and the only other little detail is the frown. We like to suggest you smooth it out just a tad and please, look more to the ref pic rather than that drawing () We realize that when raising the arms there might be a small gap between the chest and ab plate (idealy there´s not) but there´s also a indication of that when the arms are relaxed. Upon further trouble-shooting we noticed that there is a lean to the whole upper armor (ab/chest). This could be the way you are standing or a strapping issue so we suggest you look into what´s causing this. This bracket elastic looks to be up to no good - sort him out Trooper Moving on to the ab buttons we feel that reducing the size of the paint would be more in keeping with the originals. A tooth-pick and a few minutes of TLC should have that sorted and light shave of the smaller button plate wouldn´t go amiss That´s it for the front so we move to the back and drop down to the TD. Here we suggest you rotate the TD downwards simply by bending the clips. As seen in the ref pic the control panel should be facing out a bit more. Still on the TD another suggetion would be to see if you can bend the clips to lay flatter on the tube itself to avoid any "snagging-incidents" On to the shins and just a reminder to check the allignment for a clean look. Lastly we have the blaster D-ring, we suggest you change it out to something more accurate. And that´s it for EIB and again Congratulations! - moving along! Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. More photos may be requested in the future that allow us to make better decisions on possible adjustment etc. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. Below you will find areas that will need to be adressed for a future succesfull Centurion Application. At this moment we only see one thing and CRL states: idealy there´s no gap between the kidney and ab plate and by the looks of things it´s only a matter of adjusting the strapping and/or a small shave of the upper return edges of the kidney/ab plate. All done! Now...enjoy beeing an Expert Infantry Man #900! for a few days and then get that Centurion application in! 2 Quote
