A.J. Hamler[TK] Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 In the builds, 2" elastic is usually (but not always) used for the connection between Forearm and Biceps. I realize there's a canon reason for using elastic that wide, but is there a practical reason? Is wider better there and, if so, why? Along the same lines, for those opting not to use 2" elastic, why not? Canon reasons aside, what width elastic do you folks prefer for that connection? thanks. A.J. Quote
Pretzel Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 Hey A.J. I think this may be all preference. I use the 2'' Elastic for maneuverability and strength. I would suggest staying with elastic because of those reasons. You could use wider or shorter, as long as it all connects and keep everything together nicely. The Strapping system is mostly up to the Trooper If you find something that may work better for you, I encourage you to give it a try and share it! Quote
RLH2515[TK] Posted January 2, 2019 Report Posted January 2, 2019 I put foam padding in my forearm to hold it on snug. No elastic from forearm to bicep is needed for me. It helps with the removal of my helmet better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
