Jedimaster1971 Posted February 9, 2019 Author Report Posted February 9, 2019 It's a saturday, the double glazing fitters have let me down....... what else is a guy to do...... I know blaster build!! (Scope rail and counter hanger fabricated) Almost time to get busy with the spray painting 2 Quote
CableGuy[TK] Posted February 9, 2019 Report Posted February 9, 2019 Nice work. :-)If you want to go a little more into it, just be aware that the cocking handle is currently backwards and that the rear sight could sit a little closer to the end cap. As per the FISD blaster reference, for the rear sight “leave a little gap (about 2mm) to the raised end of the receiver tube (locking notch band”. Love those Doopy kits. Keep yo the good work. :-) 1 Quote

Linz[TK] Posted February 10, 2019 Report Posted February 10, 2019 looks Good buddy. I decided to doopydoo in the end. Still waiting for BBB day. Hopefully this Wednesday so got busy building. Few details still to add to scope, counter etc and bit more weathering to do but actually quite enjoyed building it. I’ll try and attach picture. Good luck with the rest of yours Quote
Jedimaster1971 Posted August 25, 2019 Author Report Posted August 25, 2019 Dragging my build back from the bantha ....... I sourced what I have been informed is Shepperton studios..... from a guy who worked there...... here it is in the boot of the car and at the hotel before spending a week in storage!!!!Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Jedimaster1971 Posted August 25, 2019 Author Report Posted August 25, 2019 I had to travel from newcastle to slough a week later to recover it from storage and it spend some time on the bench in the garage Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Quote
Jedimaster1971 Posted August 25, 2019 Author Report Posted August 25, 2019 Today I dabbled with the grey and blue paint for the ab buttons and started the first rough trimming of the kit.....Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted August 25, 2019 Report Posted August 25, 2019 You could trim your smaller ab plate a little more, also don't make the button paint too big. Appears you may also have trimmed too much from the larger plate. 1 Quote
Jedimaster1971 Posted August 25, 2019 Author Report Posted August 25, 2019 I trimmed to what I could see was the moulding lines on the underside..... it's also the only set I have currently - these were what i noticed missing when I first unpacked the kitSent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk Quote
Jedimaster1971 Posted August 26, 2019 Author Report Posted August 26, 2019 Now with the belt roughly trimmed and just held with clamps holding it for the photo- still nothing glued yetSent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Jedimaster1971 Posted August 27, 2019 Author Report Posted August 27, 2019 Will the ab buttons as I have trimmed make basic clearance or is it a rework? As its the only set i have currently ...... the shoulders I can redo got a few sets of them in with the white stuff Quote
TKSpartan[Staff] Posted August 27, 2019 Report Posted August 27, 2019 Could you take a closer photo of the ab buttons ? so we can see the detail. Here is a reference photo. Quote
