gmrhodes13[Staff]
Hello and welcome aboard, you will find quite a few threads in the builds sections with walt’s kits, should have lots of info what was included with them. I hear a lot of good reports about his kits although I’ve not had my hands on a set locally as yet.

justjoseph63[Staff]
Walt make a GREAT kit, and is a tried and true seller here. For basic ANH- Stunt approval, you will need boots, and undersuit (I suggest getting a 2 piece), holster, canvas belt and neck seal. If you will (hopefully) be aiming for Expert Infantry you will need an E-11 blaster, as well as the correct hardware (split rivets, TD screws, etc. For Centurion level you will also need flexible hand guards. I believe Walt's kits come with all the necessary items to build the helmet, but not sure about the others. Since it will take a while (usually around 3-6 weeks or so) to build your armor, you will have plenty of time to order any items needed. Most things can be purchased from various members here on the FISD, but below are some links that may help: Build supply list: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/31404-supply-list-for-your-tk-build/ Here are some vendors/places I can recommend to purchase things: Boots: https://www.imperialboots.com/# These are what I troop in. I suggest ordering a size larger than what you normally wear. Neck seal: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/21385-darmans-neck-seals/ (HIGHLY recommend seller) Canvas belt: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19803-fs-white-canvas-belts/ Another A-one seller. Custom made to order in your size. Thigh garter system: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/29991-thigh-garter-system/ Not a requirement, per se, but they are awesome! E-11: https://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-11-complete-anh-e-11-blaster-kit-offer-2685-p.asp These are great if you want to build your own. They are not always in stock and can take up to 5 weeks for delivery, but you can make them super screen accurate with one of Tino's incredible kits: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28444-fs-completion-sets-for-e-11-resin-kits-with-worldwide-tracked-shipping-and-paypal/ For the undersuit, you can try ebay or amazon. Just search "Men's black compression pants/shirt". Usually around 10-15 bucks per piece, but make sure there is no lettering, logos or stripes visible on the shirt or below the waistband on the pants, like these: Pants: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Compression-Tights-Athletic-Base-Layer-Black-Sports-Gym-Workout-Long-Pants/332659983867?hash=item4d741485fb:g:YNsAAOSwYeNbA-OG:rk:9:pf:0&var=541785732007 Shirt: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Mens-Sports-Gym-Compression-Under-Base-Layer-Tops-Long-Sleeve-Quick-Dry-T-Shirt/253771090044?hash=item3b15ef887c:g:QJwAAOSwByFbVZvn:rk:7:pf:0&var=553051004305 If you are aiming for the higher levels, I sell some things as well if needed. MoSc0ut[TK]
I have a Walt’s kit and it has everything need to assemble a complete helmet minus whatever type of padding you are planning to go with. You will need to purchase whatever type of strapping material in order to complete the actual armor. (The nylon webbing, elastic, split rivets, brackets, etc.) The rest is common to all as far as belt, under suit, holster and boots.m, you’ll need to buy those separately. You can always reach out to an attaché with any additional questions and we’ll get back to you ASAP with an answer. Welcome to the world of white armor!JimTK-50899

gmrhodes13[Staff]
There are a few differences in those versions you have mentioned, make sure you check those in the CRL's (costume reference library) Stormtrooper section is here There is also a nice spreadsheet of the various differences you can access here

I have white "handling" gloves I wear underneath them. Some people say they get too hot but I guess I'm use to it from working in a chemical lab for 6 years. I know some troopers do black nomex gloves.
StrmTRPR85[TK]
Also not sure which strapping kit you are going to get. If you end up going the bracket route (metal) you will need to make a return edge on the butt and kidney.
shashachu[TK]
Another extremely happy WTF kit owner here. Like others said, it comes with everything you need for the helmet assembly, including the brow trim, neck trim, and green plastic for lenses. It also comes with tube stripe decals but I gave mine away since I wanted a painted helmet instead of decals. I bought my paint stencils from Trooperbay and was very happy with them. Note that if you want a hero, Walt does make hero helmets, so you should be able to request one.
Jdg
I know I will need to purchase a belt but what about the clip that holds the thermal TD does the kit come with that or will I need to get one and where do you get them from I have seen some tutorials on how to make them
StrmTRPR85[TK]
For the clip you will either need to make your own or buy one. The belts are just fabric or more rigid belts with plastic inside the fabric.
shashachu[TK]
The kit does not come with the TD clips. I made my own from 1/8" aluminum flat bar from home depot but there are many places to buy them.
Jdg
Are they hard to make I think I will be struggling just with making the kit unfortunately I’m in Australia and there doesn’t seem to be as many resources locally to help b could you please provide me some places where to buy the clip thanks
StrmTRPR85[TK]
Ukswrath sells a couple versions here in the for sale section. I have his version 2 TD clips.
