I can't even begin to tell you how bad this obviously re-cast kit is and all the problems it has. When it comes to armor, you get what you pay for. The kits from the vetted (tried and true) sellers in this this section https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ will cost more, but you will be dealing with reputable folks, the quality is top-notch, and that they are 501st approvable at all levels when built correctly (which we are here to help you with). Here are some to avoid at all costs, as well as information on what a re-caster is: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/19329-where-what-and-whom-to-avoid-when-buying/ Quote
sharkbait[TK] Posted December 21, 2018 Report Posted December 21, 2018 Bottom line: No eBay, no Amazon, no Etsy for armor. Many Reasoner include: bad quality, not 501st quality, overpriced, far too cheap yet still a rip off, recasters, Rubies, Rubies in disguise. I love all those places, but not for armor. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/ And then feel free to ask about any of those listed there, too- like what would best fit your body type if you're not sure! 1 Quote

Locitus[Admin] Posted December 23, 2018 Report Posted December 23, 2018 Just do what the others have already told you. You can point at hundreds of alternatives, and 99 of them will be shit. Quote
phil Posted December 29, 2018 Author Report Posted December 29, 2018 (edited) this for real ----------- Edited March 18, 2022 by gmrhodes13 link removed no longer working Quote
CableGuy[TK] Posted December 29, 2018 Report Posted December 29, 2018 I would highly recommend following the advice above from seasoned troopers. Armour from eBay, etsy, Amazon etc is unlikely to end well. Especially when they say it’s around £35. :-( Quote

Got this instead They closed down about 10 minutes after I requested a refund and apparently opened up a new site. It’s the same web layout, prices and pics.
