rzill[TK] Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 Anyone have experience with these type of gloves? Ok for approval, and will hand guards stay on this material well with E6000, or suggest another adhesive? Thanks! Sent from my LG-M322 using Tapatalk Quote

I used Loctite to glue my silicone plates to my rubber gloves. E6000, gorilla glue, superglue- none of that stuff works. Loctite will get the silicone to stick to the rubber. PICTreed Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 Joseph suggested to put wax paper inside gloves before glueing. I got on here to post the same thing. 1 Quote

justjoseph63[Staff] Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 Trust me on the wax-paper thing. If you are using my hand guards, you can use E-6000 to attach them, as I embed the backs with cloth. Note that for level 2 and above that gloves must be made entirely of rubber, but if you scuff-up the back with sandpaper and clean it thoroughly with alcohol they will adhere firmly. Quote
PICTreed Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 I'm going to get the ones they posted in the other thread then. Quote
mgb1016[501st] Posted November 16, 2018 Report Posted November 16, 2018 Mine are a $5 pair of Gorilla Gloves that look just like those (including the green trim!) and I have the plates attached with white industrial strength velcro. Been trooping in them for 3 1/2 years, and they've never come unattached. Quote
