We trooped a conference of families with children suffering from a terminal degenerative brain condition in Crystal City, VA. There were a lot of smiles from the kids. There were also many times they would take our hands and not let go. This is why we do what we do. 3 Quote

We had a great turnout and a lot of fun. And it was nowhere near as cold as last year! Although I still wore hand warmers in my gloves (wimp). 3 Quote

They raised $14,000 at the show this year. The group had a great videographer who put a FANTASTIC sizzle reel together with awesome effects. robojoe[TK] Posted August 8, 2022 Author Report Posted August 8, 2022 I've got a lot of catching up to do. I've been so bad about updating my troop log this year. Here we go! Second troop of the year was at the Inova Schar Cancer Institute. This was a last minute troop for young boy undergoing cancer treatment on his birthday. We were able to entertain other kids as well. No photos from this one, but I did geta picture of the Proton Treatment room, where we were with a young man finishing his last treatment. I swear it looked like it belonged on a Star Destroyer! 1 Quote
