Anovos TK Spray Paint Match

Hey everyone, has anyone found a spray paint that is fairly close in color to the anovos TK. 

 

I tested with Krylon White, but it’s too white. The anovos seems a little bit milkier. 

 

I went the ABS paste route on the shims for my kidney plate, but unfortunately ended up with some discoloration after sanding. It’s perfectly smooth. I sanded all the way up to 2000 grit and then polished, but I’m not happy with discoloration.

I find with the paste you never will match 100%, adding the extra acetone as well as the sanding makes the paste a slightly different colour.

 

Someone posted the following a while ago:

 

Rustoleum Painter's Touch semi gloss white. matches perfectly.

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to give the rustoleum a try

How did it go? I’ve tried a number of paints and not found one to match. Even went to the paint store to get a match and was told they can only match paint, not plastic.

@cheesewhoopy how was the progress on using the painters touch paint? I’m too having trouble with my kidney plate.

The rustoleum paint unfortunately is NOT a match, at least not for first generation Anovos armor.

This is true. Least I’m making it into a Sandtrooper. That first gen armor! Lol
