justjoseph63[Staff] Posted September 30, 2018 Report Posted September 30, 2018 Hi Grave! Thank you for your EI submission, and nice job on that build! One of us will be with you shortly, but before we can move along there are a few issues we need you to take care of, sir. 1. The gloves required for level 2 must be "Rubber or rubber like chemical gloves" as per the CRL. Yours appear to be vinyl. 2. Could you post up some detailed photos of the T-tracks on your blaster? You will need 6 total T-tracks on your blaster as required in the CRL: "If using the Hasbro E-11 toy blaster, it is modified to have the correct number of T-tracks (6)". It may be the photo angles, but it looks like a few are missing or the wrong type. Your canvas belt also looks too dark. As mentioned in the CRL it should be "white or off white", but yours is bordering on a beige color, and it should blend in with the armor color more. Reference image Thanks very much, and we hope to see your updated photos soon, Trooper! Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 30, 2018 Report Posted September 30, 2018 Nice work trooper, its looks like you may have riveted your knee ammo strip too high on the inner side of your thigh, it should be riveted to the lower ridge not above as shown in the image below: It it also looks like your ab buttons are too dark, should be #14 french blue and #5 dark admiralty grey Quote

justjoseph63[Staff] Posted October 13, 2018 Report Posted October 13, 2018 Hi Grave, welcome and thank you for your EIB application. Let's have a look, brother..CRL and EIB Application Requirements:All the required submission photos have been posted., your armour displays all necessary element as set out in the level 2 CRL, Congratulations on a job well done!. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestions affects any application, it will be listed below. First, thank you for changing out the canvas belt (MUCH better), gloves and the blaster. The few items that follow are recommendations to make your armor look even closer to screen accuracy, and I am sure you will do a great job! 1. I appreciate you lowering the inside of your thigh ammo pack, but it really should have an equal distance from the back on both sides. If there is a hole showing afterward, it can easily be filled with ABS paste. Reference image (right side) Reference image (left side) Reference image I would also suggest gluing it (the thigh ammo pack) into place as in your first photos. Although there were a few Troopers who had them lower down, the majority of them hid the bottom of the right thigh. Either way is fine. Reference image INCREDIBLE job on that back to kidney connection, brother, and your posterior plate is perfect on the left side, but unfortunately it is lower on the right side. This may be a strapping issue which can be easily fixed by tightening it up or adding a new strap in that area. Reference image The size and shape of your large ab button plate is as close to screen accurate as you can get, but the 4 button plate could use some trimming. I would also think about cleaning up the paint on the buttons a little bit to give you a more polished look. Your forearms look pretty wide at the wrist opening, and could stand to be tapered a little bit. This would really add to your overall appearance. Reference image Just a few suggestions on your bucket.. Your tube stripes should be moved a little closer up. The distance between the upper edge and the cheek should be about the width of a pencil (10mm). If you decide to redo them please also note that tops of the front stripes should lean forward towards the frown. (Reference pic 1). As of now they are actually on the wrong sides. Also, the frown should extend a bit farther as seen in reference pic 2. Reference image 1 Reference image 2 The rear traps are not symmetric. The left one really dips down quite a bit as compared to the right one, and they should be of a similar shape and size. Reference image Lastly, a super simple fix for you.. a small dab of white paint on the right ear screw would make a big difference! Centurion Suggestions:In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. Just a few issues to address, sir. For level 3 (which I hope you will be submitting for) you will need to address the following: 1. As per the CRL, the ABS hand guards will need to be the flexible type, either rubber or rubber-like. 2. Shoulder bells should be close to (almost touching) the shoulder bridges. Reference image Again, super job, sir, and I look forward to seeing your Centurion submission when you are ready!! Quote
