Am having problems attaching the rest of the images as the max limit is just at 180 kB. Any ideas on how to add more images? Many thanks.

yep, If you search "how to upload photos" I think it will take you to the tutorial page, but I use Imgur which is a host sight for photos, super easy to use, and you copy and paste the links to your photos. this allows you to upload as many photos as needed.

As far as pre approval goes, you should have no problem. You have a few tiny issues with your cover strip length on your forearms, but that's for higher level clearance. You shouldn't have a problem with basic approval

I am curious though, do you have any issues with walking? seems like your legs are built really close together. might have some mobility issues. and just make sure when you send in your approval photos, that the backs of your legs line up at the tops and bottoms of each armor piece

Was thinking the same thing about the legs. Looks great but after a troop or two, like everyone else you might be adjusting the legs.

Many thanks for the comments and advise. Yes, definitely some issues with walking. Am considering trimming the knee region as well as the upper calf area. Hope that won't affect approval though. And yes the right forearm cover strip is protruding out I noticed. Guess will have to trim that out.

ok STOP!!! before trimming anything. Please go and look at the EIB and Centurion approved post. These kits have already met basic approval and are now in the upper approval levels. This will allow you to see where trimming can be done. And great job with Imgur, photos came up perfect.

If your gonna trim stick with the top of the thighs and bottom of calves/shins. Check out the centurion pics for reference and go from there. It’s gotta fit you and if your gonna be in it for 4 or more hours you want to be able to walk and not fall. Do small amounts at a time and try it on for size afterward. You don’t want to go too much cause it won’t look right. Just find the happy medium where you can walk some what normal.

Nice work, YL. You’ve made a nice job of that and I’m sure you won’t have much trouble getting your clearance.

Hopefully see see you soon applying for EIB and Centurion. :salute:

Easy pass for basic, but I echo the sentiments of others with regards to your mobility! Your sniper knee is particularly over the thigh which will likely cause some issues.
