Wider Strips

Can anyone please advise if there are wider strips, etc for gluing together the armor.  I am pretty much set with the exception of the thigh area.  I need a little more room on my Anovos kit in thigh section.  Any recommendations or advise where I can get wider strips or larger armor parts?  Thanks in advance

Do you need wider cover strips? You’d have to make them out of extra plastic.

Google “ABS Plastic Sheets”, and you’ll find something. I found one company (can’t remember the name) that sells it in different thicknesses. Or you can contact different armor makers to see if they have sheets you can buy.

Thanks for the info. I will check out the link above. As for manufacturers, who might offer something? If I ask Anovos, there is a good chance I will be no longer living with their turnaround time

I’d look at the Armor Maker thread and go from there. I know Anovos doesn’t sell it by the sheet.

I have managed to get some ABS plastic from a local sign business, just watch out though as different makes of armor can have a colour difference so if you do go this route make sure you take a piece to check on colour
