TK 71627[TK] Posted August 20, 2018 Author Report Posted August 20, 2018 Thank You for your time and consideration on my request. I will await for your reply. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted August 20, 2018 Report Posted August 20, 2018 Thank you for your EI submission, Jose! One of us will be with you shortly, but before we can proceed we will need you to make a few adjustments and post some new photos showing those, brother. They are as follows: 1. Could you post a close-up of at least one of your gloves? 2. The rivet on your thigh amo pack will need to be painted white. 3. The bottom part of your left ear is way too wide and will need to be trimmed. If you will note, in the photo you submitted the cut line is still there, and I would follow that. I would also recess the bottom ear screw on that side. Reference image 4. The cover strip on your left thigh is too long on both the top and bottom. It should be level with the thigh on top and should not go over the ridge on the bottom. Reference image 5. Both abbutton cover plates will need to be trimmed to match the ones seen below: Reference image There are a few other items, but I feel confident that you can get these done quickly so that we can move along on your submission and get you to level 2, Trooper! justjoseph63[Staff] Posted August 25, 2018 Report Posted August 25, 2018 Hi again, Jose! Thanks for taking care of the other issues but your ears still need a bit of work, brother. Here is what should be done, along with a few suggestions so that we can get you to EI! 1. The bottoms are still too thick and still need to be trimmed more, (front and back). As mentioned before, you can still see the slight indentation line from the maker as to where they should be cut to, which is a lot thinner than where they are now. The reference images below should give you a good idea of how thick they should be. Reference images 2. In addition to the trimming mentioned above, the right one is mounted too far back and high, so it will need to be brought down and forward a bit as well (first photo). The positioning of the top of the left one is good, but the bottom could be moved back a bit and some trimming would help that side as well. Note the trimming on the bottom of the ear in the reference image below. The bottom of your right ear is good, but the left one should match for symmetry. Reference image It shouldn't take that long to grab your Dremel and and a drill to get these to the perfect position... I'm confident that you will do a great job and looking forward to seeing the results! Quote
TK 71627[TK] Posted August 25, 2018 Author Report Posted August 25, 2018 10-4.... I can now see why I couldn’t achieve for it to be thinner.... IT WAS TO HIGH I’ll get on it today! Ty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Here are the UPDATED PIX on my ears....I worked on them this weekend. I REALLY like how they came out, my bucket looks ALOT MORE LEGIT.... The RT EAR, I moved it about 1/4” down & 1/4” forward.... this REALLY helped me trim it nice & slim. I also placed my other eyebrow trim to fit. (The silver mark was where it was originally before I moved it )(A lot thinner) The left ear I did some trimming & moved it about 1/2”. It is now aligned. TY, I eagerly await your reply Joseph. Your TD is rotated too much "upward". you should be able to see the "button" in the picture above. may just need to roll it down some and "pinch" the bracket closed a little more. Second is the butt plate, where you have your snaps are set. that part of the plate should actually come off, and the be set just above that. I figured you did it room as you are a bigger trooper, but again, looking at the photo above, you don't need it. removing it will help with comfort as well. I have a feeling that trooping with that "tab" still on the armor may get uncomfortable. Again these are just some things that have stuck out to me, and may not be required fixes for EIB. At the end of the day its up to Tony and Joseph to give you the title. Hope this helps not only reach EIB, but Centurion soon after! 1 Quote

Commander Gree[501st] Posted August 27, 2018 Report Posted August 27, 2018 Ok. so where the red circle is, that all should come off and the snaps moved to where the green dots are. Hope this helps. Also, if you need some room or comfort you can take the return edge off the butt plate completely if you want. if its not causing an issue then you can leave it. Hope this helps Quote

Kind of like reading your own material. you know what its supposed to look like so you may miss something. but someone with "fresh eyes" will find out the issues and help Quote

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Im curious to know, did you make the clips yourself or buy them? The reason I ask is its still too far "rolled" forward. Again this may be a centurion issue, but where you "button" is, is too far back, it should be located where the raised areas are. if you google "Stormtrooper Thermal Detonator" one of the first pictures of stormtroopers will show you what im talking about. You should really be able to see the clips when its mounted to your belt, and the round "button" should sit at the "top" of the TD and the ridge area pointing outward towards the person taken the photo, or parallel to the ground, if that makes sense.
