Report:

Trooper Jezza, Trooper Q and Wrangler Marie arrived at the meet point at 1:00 as requested, and we were shown the change area that was extremely roomy had a large table and comfy chairs so we grabbed our bags from the car and dropped them off before having a quick look round. It was then decided to have a free sausage in a roll before we started so that the smell of onions cooking on the BBQ wouldn’t be so annoying in the helmet later on.

After the sausage we headed back to the carpark to find that Trooper Plunk had arrived so back to the change area to drop off his bags and show him what was what. Then it was change into kit time, after changing it was out to mingle with the crowd which was made up of mostly younglings and some oldlingings.

We started to have some photos with the kids young and old, before walking to where the Native wildlife people were. Trooper Jerry got brave and had a snake wrapped around his neck, I don’t think it was poisonous. We also patted the Koala that was held by one of the staff. We then walked over to the animal farm before deciding it was too crowded to enter. So back to the main area we went. While the Wrangler was valiantly protecting Q from being probed in his nether regions by a stick, some other delightful younglings decided it was a good idea to throw stones at the troopers. They were told off by the Wrangler much to the surprise of some of the parents standing nearby.

It was apparent that the sugar had kicked in, so after another walk around the facility and shooting the same younglings again and again and again, they just wouldn’t lay down dead, we decided that it might be a good time to stop.

After kitting down we were invited to have some liquid refreshment, before picking up our bags and leaving the wilds of Rockingham.

unhappy people: Some younglings who became upset.
