Lifeburn Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 So, unfortunately I started out with a set of fiberglass eBay armor. Man, do I regret that. I had to do a lot of work just to get it wearable. Now I plan to upgrade each piece to better armor. Sorry I didn't take more photos along the way. This is the armor after the coat of red paint, but before the final weathering. In between working on the armor I made a pauldron, a pouch (made out of foam), a sandtrooper style backpack, and the flamethrower. And finally, here is the finished armor. I know the Incinerator troopers don't wear backpacks, but I'm not applying to the 501st, and I like sandtroopers...so there. 3 Quote
mikidymac[TK] Posted September 28, 2018 Report Posted September 28, 2018 Actually it looks great! You should apply to the 501st. Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Nice work, does look as if your thigs are a little large at the knees. If you havent already i would reach out to your GML (garrison membership liaison) and speak to him/her about your costume, you may find not a lot is needed for approval. Good luck Quote
magni[TK] Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 That came out killer! You should totally apply! Weathering came out sweet. With those skills join and slide a sandy under that backpack. The MEPD could always use more Backup! Either way congrats on a nice set of armor! Quote
