Maxl[TK]
I think it's done ... Did I do it right?
Thumpy~[501st]
Beautiful armor, nicely built. Immaculate, detailed paint job on the bucket. Rubber lining application is excellent around the chest, backplate, ab, and posterior sections. the only thing that jumped out at me were the rivets on the straps (frontal). Don’t think they’re allowed for level 2. I’ll take another look later, but at the present moment, great ROTJ stormtrooper!
starsaber25[Admin]
Yes Markus you are all set. This is one beautiful set of armor you have here. TM has an amazing offering here. I’ve seen a TM ROTJ set up close and personal and they are really awesome. 10 hours ago, Thumpy~ said: Beautiful armor, nicely built. Immaculate, detailed paint job on the bucket. But there is clear evidence at this point that there were rivets in the shoulder bridges. The staff is always working together on the CRLs and I’m sure this is something that will be discussed. Maxl[TK]
Thank you very very much for this great praise!!! I know that the CRL's specifys that there are no rivets on the shoulder bridges. But the shoulder bridges of the ROTJ-Stormtroopers in the film still ARE riveted in the front! I'm lookinkg forward to the result
justjoseph63[Staff]
These are the rivets in question, Markus: As Steve mentioned, we are working on this issue right now and should have a solid decision soon, I promise. In the meantime, there are a few other items that will need to be addressed. The rivets used on your thigh ammo pack are "pop" rivets, (photo 1) and as per the CRL will need to be replaced with solid head fasteners as seen in the second photo, (single cap, double cap or split rivets) for level 2, (EI). The rivets used shall be single cap, double cap or split rivets. No pop rivets allowed Photo 1 Photo 2 The sniper knee plate can not have any rivets holding on to the shin: Sniper knee plate must not have visible rivets or fasteners attaching it to the shin Hold off on making any changes to the sniper knee plate, though, as this is another matter we are discussing at the moment. If the decision is made to allow rivets, they will need to be the solid head type. Sorry to keep you in limbo, brother, and I promise we will get you squared away as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience!

justjoseph63[Staff]
Hi, Markus, and thank you for your EIB application (and your patience). Let's get to it, shall we? CRL and EIB Application Requirements:All the required submission photos have been posted, and your armour meets all the necessary requirements for level 2. On behalf of Tony and myself, we would like to welcome you to the rank of Expert Infantry! Congratulations! Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. It's always great to see an incredible build, sir, and you have done an amazing job on that TM armor! The only thing that we would like to see is your tube stripe decals repositioned a bit. They should come up closer to the cheek, and the rear should not arch down as much. This should be a really easy fix. Reference image Reference image Centurion Suggestions: Because Centurion photos show much more detail than EIB, items pertaining to Centurion might be seen there and not here. We try to point out all we can from what is seen but the final accuracy is the responsibility of the trooper. At this time we have nothing to add. Congrats again on a job well done and hope to see your Centurion submission soon!
