T-Jay[TK] Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 Hi Jared, good job done on the armor and this request thread. Should be an easy pass, I guess. I really like the idea with the velcro to keep the belt in place. Quote
TK-40996[TK] Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 Hi Jared armor is looking good ! Just some details , I think you’re belt is sitting to high because the lowest painted ab detail Is not visible , also the drop boxes seem to sit a little bit in front of the plastic on your belt . Maybe you need to change that The staff will review your armor better then me Overall a great job trooper godspeed and Goodluck!! Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted July 6, 2018 Report Posted July 6, 2018 Nice job on that ATA armor, Jared! Tony or I will be with you shortly, brother. As for the belt, do you have snaps (as in the first photo) holding it in place or just the Velcro? The reason I ask is that the left side sits higher than the right. Also, you may want to take a can of black spray paint to the scope on your E-11. A little brass color is great, but that is a LOT! Reference image Quote
Jared[TK] Posted July 6, 2018 Author Report Posted July 6, 2018 Thank you for the comments so far guys. The belt is only held on with Velcro right now, and it did go on a little high. I can put it on lower so the ab buttons show correctly. I can also add snaps if that is required. The blaster usually pulls that side of the belt lower, but I did not put it in the holster for this photo shoot. Noted on the blaster scope as well. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted July 7, 2018 Report Posted July 7, 2018 The snaps are not a requirement, but adding them will definitely keep your belt level, especially when holstering your blaster. When you get the chance, please add a photo of your belt sitting level so we can get started with your approval, brother! Thanks! 1 Quote
Jared[TK] Posted July 7, 2018 Author Report Posted July 7, 2018 Updated pictures: Front Blaster Thank you for your patience. Do I need to edit the original post or can I just post here? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Commander Gree[501st] Posted July 9, 2018 Report Posted July 9, 2018 Only thing I can see, and it will be for the next level (Centurion) which I hope your going for, is your back plate is sitting too high, and leaves a rather large gap. That will have to be closed up. Other than that you look great and should be an easy pass for EIB 2 Quote
starsaber25[Admin] Posted July 10, 2018 Report Posted July 10, 2018 Very nice job on your armor. The hyperfirms are notorious for having too much brass color sometimes. You fixed that pretty easily. I see a shiny EIB badge in your future. 1 Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted July 12, 2018 Report Posted July 12, 2018 Hey Jared, thank you for your patience and welcome to your EIB application. CRL and EIB Application Requirements:Looks like all the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor appears to display all necessary elements as set out in the level 2 CRL. Fantastic job your build, absolutely beautiful. Thank you for making the corrected fixes as suggested by your fellow troopers. That said, Joseph and I would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry. Congratulations. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. At this time the only suggestion we have to to watch your back to kidney plate gap. There should be very little gap here. Centurion Suggestions:In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. As mentioned above please reduce the back to kidney plate gap. Thank you for a nice clean build and application . 2 Quote
Jared[TK] Posted July 12, 2018 Author Report Posted July 12, 2018 Thank you! I am working on the back plate kidney gap today. Reshaping some of the outer curve and probably adding straps to the outer edge. Also, I trooped earlier this week, and in the 90 degree heat the Velcro adhesive did not perform 100%. I will be adding snaps to help secure the belt. See you at centurion very soon. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1 Quote

I would try putting a snap setup in the center of the backplate/kidney connection to draw it in a bit more. See you at Centurion soon! Quote
