Keith Henkel[TK] Posted April 16, 2018 Report Posted April 16, 2018 I found this kit on EBAY. It says it meets all FISD requirements for Centurion approval. What are your thoughts. It also has a sound and light kit. JLight[TK] Posted April 16, 2018 Report Posted April 16, 2018 I’m not a blaster specialist, but do I see a couple of things that are not super accurate. It certainly is not the only kit with a foldable stock and I would be a little concerned that it is 3-D printed and how durable it is. I do like all the moveable parts, (hengstler, trigger, selector switch, d-ring, folding stock and magazine comes out. And the icing on the cake is sound effects. Based on my knowledge and experience, it seems to me that it would pass centurion. However, before “pulling the trigger” lets let some of the experts chime in. Quote
Ryuk[TK] Posted April 17, 2018 Report Posted April 17, 2018 Hello Keith, I have archieved centurion with it. There are other troopers with this kit. Like this one here: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/44389-blaster-master-e-11-build/?tab=comments#comment-603171 This was also my first build. I can say that you need a lot of sanding (i was a little lazy back then). Another plus is, its easy to repair using aceton and ABS powder. Also you can order parts of T-Jays Kit additional. https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/28444-fs-completion-sets-for-e-11-resin-kits-with-worldwide-tracked-shipping-and-paypal/ as I told Dave, you can add a little more detail to the Blaster master Kit when using most of the parts of this Kit. Especially the lens are cool and easy to add. For the electronics: Also the sound kit is also not bad. Red and blue LED and two sounds. also a good youtube instruction. If you like more LEDs and sound effect. Take a look a this build: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/41092-first-dedicated-arduino-board-for-blasters-welcome-the-stardust-b/?page=2&tab=comments#comment-593640 He also sell the anduino boards for blasters and lightsabers. Other electronics are offered from TRamp https://www.facebook.com/trooperamp/ Their mini scope display looks really great (I will add it in a further build) Hope this helps you a little. Quote
