ABS80 Posted March 15, 2018 Report Posted March 15, 2018 (edited) Fantastic job! the only thing I would do is trim off the shoulder straps rear big tab, I added those as extention for larger people. Mark (AP) Edited March 16, 2018 by ABS80 Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 15, 2018 Author Report Posted March 15, 2018 Will do. I'll post a new picture as soon as it's done. Thanks Dominic. Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 15, 2018 Author Report Posted March 15, 2018 (edited) Here are the shoulder straps after the excess is removed Dominic. Edited March 15, 2018 by PERDOM4273 1 Quote
CableGuy[TK] Posted March 16, 2018 Report Posted March 16, 2018 Nice work, Dominic. Looking sharp. :-)Just a couple of little things that might come up as suggested tweaks:The smaller ab button (pictured right) could possibly be trimmed down a bit. Also, you might be asked to tighten the elastics on the drop boxes to bring them up to the belt. Great build. :-)Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1 Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 16, 2018 Author Report Posted March 16, 2018 I'll trim the right and button plate tonight and post a new picture.Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 17, 2018 Author Report Posted March 17, 2018 I sanded the piece, how does it look now? Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 27, 2018 Author Report Posted March 27, 2018 I updated the first post with new pictures: Front Back Left Right Abs detail. Thanks Dominic. 1 Quote

Calimero[TK] Posted March 27, 2018 Author Report Posted March 27, 2018 Crap, I missed that detail. Good thing that I used E-6000 to glue it, it will be easier to remove and sand.Sent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk 2 Quote
TheSwede[TK] Posted March 27, 2018 Report Posted March 27, 2018 Just want to add that the buttons are close to the (short) edges so sand the long edges as well and that will help in getting the corners as straight as possible and you probably already had that covered but wanted to make sure Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 27, 2018 Author Report Posted March 27, 2018 I'll remove the piece and sand all the sidesSent from my Moto X Play using Tapatalk Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 29, 2018 Author Report Posted March 29, 2018 I sanded the piece to straighten the edges and I used some wetsand to remove the paint which I redid but smaller to leave some space around. I just placed the button piece on the abs without gluing it to get your opinion on the job done. If you say it's OK, I'll glue it, if not, I'll continue working on it but at least, I won't have to remove the glue. I want it to be the right size but I fear to do too much and scrap the piece. 1 Quote

Sly11[Admin] Posted March 29, 2018 Report Posted March 29, 2018 That looks great Dom, but there is one thing you will need to fix as per the CRL for level 3, and that is the return edge at the wrist end of your fore arms. All that material needs to come out , we can see in your image that the ridge material is still there. You got this brother. Level three certification (if applicable): No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed. For your reference Quote
Calimero[TK] Posted March 30, 2018 Author Report Posted March 30, 2018 When I checked for the return edge, I never thought of looking there because for me, it was part of the pattern on the piece. I sanded the return edge, is this OK? 1 Quote
