Wargasm[TK] Posted March 4, 2018 Author Report Posted March 4, 2018 (edited) I realised my photo taking positions were wrong. Finally got the chance to re take them. ^^ Edited March 6, 2018 by Wargasm I cant seem to include all my photos. Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted March 4, 2018 Report Posted March 4, 2018 Really nice job overall, Joshua! There are a few items that need some attention, though.. The large ab button plate needs some serious trimming, (the smaller one could use a little love too). Below is a photo of the ab section of an ATA chest plate showing how it should look. It may take some work, but hopefully you used E-6000 to attach it so you can remove it to trim it. Also, the placement of the clips on your TD needs to be moved (easy fix) and you should paint those screws black. Below is a pic of the proper alignment. Keep up the great work.. I have every confidence that we will see you at EI level soon! Quote
magni[TK] Posted March 4, 2018 Report Posted March 4, 2018 Easy fixes. Good Luck on your approval! Quote

As a matter of fact, I had to do that exact same fix on my large ab button plate on my first EI submission, so you are definitely not the first, lol. Just take your time when removing it, and if you have any trouble taking it off just PM me. Quote
NINJAM0VE[TK] Posted March 5, 2018 Report Posted March 5, 2018 Hi Josh, as pointed out by Joseph, you should also use a panhead screw - slotted type painted in black for your TD clips. Some other things that may need adjustments are as follows: • your sniper knee plate may need to be glued on the sides. They seem floating in the photos. • you may need to cut the folded part of your holster and attach it to the white canvas belt using chicago screws instead of snaps. • your thigh parts may need a little bit of trimming so you can have a gap in between your thighs and shins that permits mobility and comfort. • dont forget to also upload photos of your boots and the D-ring of your blaster. Cheers! Quote

Cheers! Finally managed to get most of my pics up in the second post. You'll have to help me out with the panhead screw measurements My sniper plate is glued on at the sides, but the sides may be a littlle too long. Will do my best to trim it down. You mean the attachment straps? Also I can't swap the snaps for screws without damaging the holster. Will this be a requirement for approval? I actually move really comfortably at the moment, even ran up the stairs during the Chingay troop. ^^ Will attach the pictures in the next reply. ^^ Thanks for the feedback bro! Quote
ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 6, 2018 Report Posted March 6, 2018 Hey Joshus Andrew or myself will be with you shortly. Before we get started we need you to do a couple things for us. First and most importantly your blaster needs to have a charging handle. Please install one and post a new photo. Reference photo Speaking of photos could you also post a action shot, and the thigh ammo belt outer connections please. Thanks Quote
Wargasm[TK] Posted March 12, 2018 Author Report Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) Some updated photos of corrections made. @NINJAM0VEHere is the D-Ring you requested @justjoseph63 I have trimmed the AB buttons as instructed. I have also altered the position of the TD clips and swapped the screws to black panhead (- type) screws. @ukswrathI have added the charging handle. (Previously I didn't want it to break off during travels hence I removed it. Its back now though ^^. I have also attached an action shot that I couldn't post due to a weird file size limit in the original post. (The belt in the picture has been upgraded and corrected since then). Good sir I am still abit confused about the outer thigh ammo pack picture you need? Once more apologies for the missing pictures in the main post. The forum is not being cooperative with me Many thanks guys! Edited March 12, 2018 by Wargasm Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 12, 2018 Report Posted March 12, 2018 Lastly, not sure if it fell off the radar but please post a photo of the waist belt by it self please. Basically you waist belt face up and face down on the floor with drop boxes. Thanks Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 Hey Joshua, welcome and thank you for your EIB application. Let's take a look. CRL and EIB Application Requirements:Thank you for making the updates to some required elements as suggested by your follow troopers. That said, it appears all the required submission photos have been posted. Your armor displays all necessary element as set out in the level 2 CRL, Congratulations. Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over so let's get started. As we go through these keep in mind the accuracy of your armor is ultimately up to you. Starting with the helmet, we're suggesting you revisit almost every painted section. We understand for most individuals painting can be challenging. We've used your photos to illustrate the areas needing touch up. Most, if not all the lines need to be cleaned up. The frown should be similar on each side as well. We've provided reference photos below you can use as a focal point. Reference photos It's hard to tell from the current photo angle however, the interior of your hovi tips should be white. Reference photo As we move down the shoulder bells should be almost touching. From the front they look great, from the rear then need adjustment. At minimum the connecting straps need to be tightened up and removing more of the lower bell return edge should draw them in even closer. Reference photo Next up there should be minimal gap between the back and kidney plates. Tightening up the connecting should draw them closer. Reference photo The space between the forearm and biceps differs between arms. We're suggesting you make the needed adjustment to make them similar. Reference photo Continuing downwards, the TD appears to be sitting very high on the waist belt. It should roughly sit in the middle. Refer to reference photo provided Reference photo The upper waist belt ammo box should reside at or just below the lower Ab buttons. THis will need to be adjusted. Reference photo Drop boxes either too thick or not correctly assembled. The box thickness should be roughly 12-15mm. Trimming these a bit should do the trick. Reference photo Posterior should reside under the kidney plate. Tightening the strapping should resolve this. Reference photo Sniper knee. As illustrated in the following photos knee edges are a little thick. We're suggesting you trim them down like so. Reference photos And lastly it appears the right thigh front cover strip is too long. Similar to the left thigh it should stop just above the lower return edge. The photo you've provided isn't very clear so if we're wrong please disregard. Reference photo Centurion Suggestions:In this section we prepare you the best we can for Centurion. If there are any areas of concern they will be discussed here. If we had anything to add here it would be to ensure your waist belt drop boxes are aligned with the outer edge on your ammo belt. Reference photo Thank you for a perfect application, and congratulations once again. Quote

lucnak[TK] Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 Congrats on your EIB! Lots of constructive criticisms to improve the look of your armour but you'll be looking even better with a bit of work! 1 Quote
