jamo[501st] Posted January 22, 2018 Report Posted January 22, 2018 Hi,I am in the process of converting from an approved ANH Stunt to HWT. My main problem is the back-pack. I am located in Australia and the Wedco oil drain pan base is not available here (unless prepared to pay for extremely high shipping rates from overseas). As an alternative, I'm looking at the locally available products and the only one I can find is the Toledo brand.I would appreciate any advice on this as an alternative, or if any other local FISD members know of a better product from Australian based suppliers.Jamo Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
Ripper_L[Admin] Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 Unfortunately your link doesn't work But it doesn't have to be the wedco oil drain pan! We don't have that one either in Europe. But since the HWT is based off a video game reference, there is no need to get that exact part. I'm pretty sure the guys at pandemic studios didn't think of the wedco oil pan, while making the textures for their game So as long as the dimensions look correct, you should be fine with any oil pan (Hopefully, one of the HWT specialists can give is 2cts here and correct me if I'm wrong.) jamo[501st] Posted January 24, 2018 Author Report Posted January 24, 2018 Thanks for the reply.Dimensions are the key, and based on the tutorial by ukswrath, the dimensions should be roughly 22" x 15" x 4" (in metric, 560mm x 380mm x 100mm). I guess I'm really asking what is the tolerance level on these dimensions??There aren't many oil drain pans available, so I'm also looking at options of slimline jerry cans, and other water/liquid containers.Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote

Jamo Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Is this the one you mean? http://www.tridon.com.au/products/Toledo/19/327664/containers-and-funnels/409947/oil-drain-pans/428369/305090 you would have to do some adjustments, like remove the center tuba at the top, but the dimensions look about right. This link may help as well for other dimensions: https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/40081-tip-note-on-hwt-pack-specs/ Note that all sizes are approximate, as there are no "canon" references. As long as the finished product is close in appearance to the one in the bottom part of the HWT CRL, allowances can be made. Best of luck on your HWT journey, and feel free to PM me if I can help. 1 Quote
