Apologies if I'm asking this in the wrong section I couldn't find anywhere more specific to ask.

I'm looking at a used RS TK and the current owner is 5'8" and 70kg, I am 6ft and around 80/85kg, what are the chances this armour could be a good fit for me?

Get the owner to measure the circumference of his arms and legs to see if they are close to your measurements. The torso and helmet will be fine. It's the limbs that could be a problem if they are trimmed down too much and too tight on you. This would be a lot of work to try and extend them if that's the case.

Unfortunately it kinda fell through, I didn't have the funds at the time so I listed my Darth Vader costume and my old FX stormy and they've both sold so I have the money now, the RS kit I wanted was on eBay but the listing ended unsold, I've tried contacting the seller but he's not responding, so the search continues..

If you are interested in building your own kit, I would recommend getting in touch with Paul (Troopermaster, who posted above) to see if he has any kits for sale.  You could also contact RS.  Both are fantastic if you have the time to build one, and although time consuming it's really not as difficult as you may think.  There are dozens of build threads available here as well as hundreds of folks who are more than willing to help you out every step of the way.

There may be someone in the UKG who can build it for you if you want to go that route.  You should get in touch with one of the Imperial Attaches for the UKG who can help out a lot.  Here are their contacts:
