gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted November 1, 2017 Report Share Posted November 1, 2017 Troop: Samara's 7th Birthday LOCATION: Caversham DATE: 29th October TIME: 1 Hour LANDSCAPE/WEATHER: Outdoors fine and sunny TROOPERS: jezzapm - Jerry - TK59226 gmrhodes13 - Q - TK85421 Flocky - Peter - TI98311 DV64 - Stuart - SL51164 WRANGLERS: Marie REPORT: Glen and Stuart arrived at the designated refuelling station for refreshments and briefing at 10 am and Marie arrived shortly thereafter. After the briefing it was time to make our way to the party, so it was into the imperial transports for the short trip to meetup with Flocky. Upon arrival Stuart made a recce of the house and found out that we could use the master suite as a change room, so we made our way in and got changed. At 12:00 it was time to venture forth to be greeted by a forest of light sabres (Pool Noodles) and some very surprised, excited and noisy younglings, who then proceeded to wield said light sabres with gusto. The Storm troopers and Tie Pilot valiantly protected Lord Vader from harm at the risk of being severely injured. After the younglings had been beaten off (not literary) it was time to have photos and to give the birthday girl, Samara, her certificate. The party goers then had a game of pin the sabre on a shadow Vader and our Tie Pilot joined in but managed to pin his sabre onto the wrong Vader, he now has his name in the little black book. It was then time to kit down and say our good bye's and give our ears a rest from all the excited younglings.
