Hey Everyone!

I've recently completed 90% of my first ANH-Stunt build, the only step i have left is connecting all of the pieces with snaps. Does anyone have any advice, pictures, links to other related posts, or potentially links to what sort of snaps to buy etc.

Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated. I hope to hear back soon!

thank you all so much i cant wait to finally finish and join the ranks!

Regards,

Dimitri

Hi Dimitri,

As well as looking at lots of other builds and strapping diagrams, I also followed this video from Ross at RWA.

Here’s how mine turned out.

You might want to consider doing double snaps in certain places.

Welcome, Dimitri!  As for the type of snaps, I would go with the line 24 style.  I would advise not purchasing cheap ones, as they can come undone easily, which is not good on a troop.  I would get the Tandy brand if you can.

Like Dan mentioned, in many areas I always recommend using the double snaps in a lot of the areas, especially the shoulders and ab/kidney connections.  Using double snaps is a bit more expensive to do, but you can be assured that nothing will ever fall off or come apart.

Hiya,
Yes - he suggests either plastic tabs (white plastic squares) or nylon webbing. I went with tabs because they came with my armour kit, but either is okay. :-)

I use the same setup Ross demos in his video and haven't had a single issue with single snaps.  That said I know some/many have so maybe I'm the unicorn here.  There's a lot to be said for using a quality snap though.
