I’m getting into costuming and I wanted to know if Armor from Original Stormtrooper.com or RS Prop masters.com are accurate and authentic replica armors for the 501st legion?

If you are looking for maximum movie accuracy go for RS.

Shepperton is ok but RS is way more accurate.

Have a read through this https://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/11538-the-various-types-of-armor-and-where-to-find-them/

RS will be fine, though Shepperton (aka SDS) often requires more work.

You haven't filled out your profile, but depending on where you are there's a lot more options.

Hi Logan and welcome to the FISD!  Yes you should certainly read through that entire thread that Chris has provided for you.  RS is one of the best sets out there.  You should stay away from originalstormtrooper.com.  Where are you from?  There are a handful of vendors available in the UK and there are a handful of vendors available in North America.

Could someone elaborate on why the Shepperton Design Studios is not a good choice. If not are their E-11s accurate replicas and are their hero helmets accurate?

Yeah we can elaborate.  But down a dark hole you will go.  Are you ready?  Here is some research for you:

I will just leave you with those links.  Good luck and hope to see you back in the light looking at this thread soon:

RS can ship it to you in weeks, ready to go , and super screen accurate . Shepperton can't do that , and most troopers shy away from them for good reasons.

Go RS every time !

You go to the events you want to do.

For your other questions it's all in the research that others have left for you.

It sounds mean but doing the research will make you a better Trooper. I found it fun learning all the differences and once you learn it, it's yours to keep. Don't let that stop you from asking questions. Just the one's you asked would take pages to explain.

Research is the key to this hobby, you have some reading ahead of you, if you want to know the differences between the armor and blasters compare them in the CRL's (costume reference library)
