It's finally here!!! "BBB" day! So excited to finally get this build started. I plan on shooting for Centurion right out of the box. Any helpful advice and criticism will be greatly appreciated!!

Great news there's nothing better that a BBB, good luck with the build, now let the panic set in

Progress is slow but the bucket is slowly taking shape...

Started with sanding the teeth out with the dremel then using needle files to get the desired shape of the teeth.

Next clamped the hood to the faceplate and got the brow where i wanted it

Drilled some holes and bolted together.

 

Now onward to the ears!!!!

A quick question to anyone who cares to answer...I'm looking into cutting the lens into 2 pieces and making hold down clamps. I've seen some ideas while doing research but cannot remember where i saw them. Does anyone happen to know some links to some good ideas on this?

Just a suggestion on the lenses to not fit them completely flush.  Leave some gap - this allows air flow and helps prevent fogging.

Still slowly moving on the helmet but ears have finally passed my OCD

Now I just need to tear it apart and plasti dip the inside then reassemble and paint the ears vocoder and frown.

A little more progress on the helmet...if this pace keeps up I might have this completed in a couple years.

Grabbed some black Sugru and made some standoffs for the lenses.(really cool stuff...easy to work with)

Prepping for plasti dip.

Put 3 coats of plasti dip came out nice and smooth.

Now that the plasti dip is on its time for the pretty green lenses...

Got the idea for the lens install from another builder really liked how he did it so I decided to copy.(Not sure who it was since I follow so much content, but I will try and find the name and edit in the credit deserved )

Finally Bucket almost complete. Just have to trim the bottom and add S seal.
