Hey all, just sending an update that  I finally got my armor in the mail after some trouble with ups. Has anyone else noticed that the helmet has been updated? There's Velcro on the top and sides to put foam that's included to fill up space in the helmet (works quite nicely). The lens is fixed to the helmet with strong adhesive on soft foam, the only bad part is I can't really attach the chin strap I have without removing it. And they also have the mesh glued with a thin black fabric around the edges which is a nice touch. From what I read of earlier versions of anovos armor, it seems like a major upgrade to the helmet at least. I'll try to send pictures at some point but it says my photo files are too big on the phone so I'll have to figure that out then.
Yeah heard that and they will also be doing away with the pre-built belt as well.

Much better than the hard hat liner. Was your belt assembled?

The belt is unassembled - sorry, forgot you had asked about that.

Yeah I was kind of surprised when I opened it earlier today. Was expecting what others had gotten in the first version from posts or unboxings I saw. But at first glance it seems like the helmet and the belt are the only 2 major differences I've noticed. Will have to look over it in more detail when I get into the build.

If you haven't already check out tk-1636 on YouTube he does a great video series on an ANOVOS build. So glad they stopped prebuilding the belt. I heard they also fixed the bucket screws.

Thanks for the tip, I have actually watched them but that was before I got the kit, and think I skipped over the belt part thinking that it was going to be assembled. I will have to revisit those videos at some point.

Yeah, he still goes through it because he strips and rebuilds the belt.

It’ll certainly make it easier to go for EI and Centurion if they stop putting the belts together (wrong) for us.

Yup, it sure will.

Your best resource for the Anovos build is Ukswrath's build. It is step by step and everything is correct for Basic to Centurion.

Same for the tk1636 videos. I read through Tony's build thread and it's definitely worth going through, but I'm better with the visual learning.

Another avenue is your local Garrison(s), quite a few Centurions up there, I’m sure you could get some great hands-on advice if needed.

Here's the inside of the new anovos helmet. Trying to get the right placement with the included padding, might not need to use the chin strap after all.

I'd say still go for the strap.

After reading all the Anovos problems I’ll be looking for another source for a Deathtrooper kit. Best of luck with your build always exciting seeing a big brown box at your door lol

I think for the time being they've cancelled/delayed that kit.

True I seen that but you can reserve the DT Specialist helmet so I was thinking they were going to try to release a full kit Specialist. But I found some guys who make the kit and wait time is way shorter

Dang that sucks are you trying to do a DT too or just checking on updates?

As much as I love that armor I'm on the small side for it. I'm going old school TK, I was checking for some updates that I was told were coming up. just waiting on my shipping email for it really.

Nothing beats the classics my first kit was a sandtrooper and it will always be my favorite. Good luck on your build
