Patient0x00[501st] Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 I don't think I read anything on this topic so let me ask you what are your thoughts... Are traitor and executioner face characters and therefore could have only one when trooping? My take, meaning it has no authoritative value, is: - traitor: most likely not, since it seems to be a standard TK with special weapon. BTW, did anyone notice that boxes are missing from the forearm on the flat plate? Pretty sure it's to accommodate the stunts... Executioner: I can see that character becoming a face character, the release of the movie will tell us for sure but should we troop with only one until confirmed? Thoughts anyone? JAFO[TK] Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 I read in some marketing material - and I'll have to try and track it down - that Phasma is usually accompanied by two Executioners. 1 Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 I also have read "accompanied by two". "We have learned Captain Phasma appears with two executioners at times." https://makingstarwars.net/2017/03/accurate-captain-phasma-executioner-stormtroopers-kylo-ren-star-wars-the-last-jedi-character-sketches/ 1 Quote

tkrestonva[TK] Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 By "traitor" are you referring to Riot Control stormtroopers, e.g. FN-2199 (or more widely yet incorrectly known as "TR8R")? The way I see it, neither the Executioner nor the Riot Control stormtroopers are one-off "face characters" but specialists within the First Order Stormtroopers Corps. While they will certainly only be a small number seen at any given time compared to the overall force, there is nothing limiting to them being a one-at-a-time seen character. And yes, FN-2199's wrist boxes are missing. Most likely to allow for added mobility when executing those sick spins with the baton. 1 Quote
The5thHorseman[501st] Posted September 12, 2017 Report Posted September 12, 2017 Or maybe those boxes got ripped over the different takes like the ones on Finn's armor. Quote
MStalkid[TK] Posted September 15, 2017 Report Posted September 15, 2017 So they would fall under the FISD and not the SpecOp's then correct? Since they are a division of the Stormtroopers and not a entirely separate unit? Quote

Daetrin[Admin] Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 These are certainly FISD, and they are not "face" characters. I would say the only TK "face" character is Finn with the blood on his helmet and Phasma. Quote
