troopermaster Posted September 26, 2017 Report Posted September 26, 2017 RememberĀ to attach the ammo belt to your canvas belt using the middle rivet first, then attach it to your abdomen and mark out the end rivets to prevent popping the rivets 1 Quote

I have seen on your photo, which is expanse, the ammo belt must have the shape of two small curves, correct? paul, can you tell me, the distance of the rivets, from the side edge (from the edge to the center of the hole)? Thx for helpInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote
troopermaster Posted September 26, 2017 Report Posted September 26, 2017 Drill the holes in the ends of the ammo belt 10mm from the edge. 1 Quote

GodOfLibra[TK] Posted September 26, 2017 Author Report Posted September 26, 2017 Tonight I cut the strings with the right measurements, with the references Paul has given me today, is now ready to be drilled and fastened to the belt. The forearm has some problems, unfortunately I'm working with magnets little powerful, and I had to use them superimposed on each other to increase the effect, I tried to overcome this problem by using spring clamps but they did not have the same effectiveness, even because of the too large size, I hope to arrive after tomorrow the 20 magnets of 8kg strength. P.S. It's great to work in a hardware store and see that the only thing that does not come from suppliers is my magnetsInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote
GodOfLibra[TK] Posted September 28, 2017 Author Report Posted September 28, 2017 Only good news for my build, the magnets arrived, but they was wrong, and I've to wait the next week; for the belt, I've to wait the 6 of october for a punch rivet, all the work that I'm do it now is stoppedInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote
gmrhodes13[Staff] Posted September 28, 2017 Report Posted September 28, 2017 (edited) I have used replacements to magnets in the past, clamps and tape will work just as well if you need to keep plodding along. Ā For a punch if you have a small piece of pipe or a brass fitting you could grind down the sides to a sharp edge and use this to punch holes, it has worked for me in the past when I couldn't find my punch. A video which gives you the general idea Ā Edited September 28, 2017 by gmrhodes13 Quote
GodOfLibra[TK] Posted September 29, 2017 Author Report Posted September 29, 2017 I tried to close my forearms with the tape and the clamps, but I did not like the result, because the forearms are too tight to pinch them so well, for the belt, I miss the punch to close the rivets, not to do the holes, those are already ready, the problem I've had is that the clamp to close them is too short and does not reach the center of the ammo beltInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote
GodOfLibra[TK] Posted October 3, 2017 Author Report Posted October 3, 2017 Magnet arrived today, I'm sticking to the rest of my armsduring the waiting, I cut the drop boxes to fit, and then I pasted the buttons on the ABInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk 1 Quote

GodOfLibra[TK] Posted October 7, 2017 Author Report Posted October 7, 2017 The last work to close biceps and forearms, after this, I have to glue the bridge on the chest, and start to glued the snaps for the bendsInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Quote
GodOfLibra[TK] Posted October 7, 2017 Author Report Posted October 7, 2017 Today I've glued the bridges on my chest, I chose to stick 4 ribs, it's better for my size, unfortunately the work with single cap rivets is gone bad, the tool I bought to close them is a crap, and I've ruined everyone, now I'm in great trouble, because I had only one stock. For the time being, with other work, I have to get new boots from England, so I can continue to cut the shins, as soon as I finish to glue the last pieces of my arms, I start with my thighs, and with the arms fastenings of the torso Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Inviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk Ā Ā Quote

GodOfLibra[TK] Posted October 9, 2017 Author Report Posted October 9, 2017 dry and clean arms, dry and clean the chest bridges, now I focus on my thighs, to figure out if I can tighten a strip, I'm 25mm now, but I'm afraid that by my great feet I will have to stay that, because with the shins I will labor, to put the boots inside the shinsInviato dal mio iPhone utilizzando Tapatalk 1 Quote
