Sealer/finish after paint job?

Do you guys use a sealer/finish to protect the paint from scratches etc?

I use a couple of coats of satin clear after I weather the blaster just to help it stay how I've made it look, you will still find that it will get scratched but not as much. I also used gloss clear on the handle ;).
