Parquette[TK] Posted November 11, 2017 Report Posted November 11, 2017 (edited) Ok, will get a family member to take a trip to Walgreens xD Yeah I those cracks aren't good. It keeps on getting me concerned honestly, I'm afraid that at the end of every troop it's going to have cracks forming. Edited November 11, 2017 by Parquette Quote
darthcue[TK] Posted November 12, 2017 Author Report Posted November 12, 2017 are your cracks on the fiberglass itself or it is on the bondo? Quote
Parquette[TK] Posted November 13, 2017 Report Posted November 13, 2017 The fiberglass. I put 2 part epoxy putty on it last night, and so far it seems to be doing the trick. I've done that on other parts of the armor and no further cracks have shown up. Quote
darthcue[TK] Posted November 13, 2017 Author Report Posted November 13, 2017 Crack on the bondoWhat is the remedy of this?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
Parquette[TK] Posted November 13, 2017 Report Posted November 13, 2017 (edited) Do the 5 minute 2 part epoxy gorilla glue. Make sure it's in a decent temperature room. I've learned the hard way by leaving the epoxy outside in the cold. Spread open the cracks enough to get the epoxy in it, then put some extra over the crack. Let it sit for 24 to 48 hours. I found it doesn't absolutely fully garden until then. Edited December 25, 2017 by Parquette 1 Quote

Big Deal Posted December 27, 2017 Report Posted December 27, 2017 I was thinking about that. I may use a weaker velcro so it's easier to separate. Quote
