themadguitarist Posted August 1, 2008 Report Posted August 1, 2008 So I've got the addiction...nothing but love for my first armor build....but I'm already thinking about a second.....and I've actually been chewing on this idea for awhile....here it is: I spend about 9 months a couple years ago living in Malta (a tiny little island in the Mediterranean) naturally my first trip out was to Tunisia....I drove the entire country, hopping from SW site to SW site...well I spent a lot of time in the sand, and actually was able to take with me about 2 liters of fine Sahara desert....see where this is going....? So what are your opinions on weathering with real sand? I'm thinking spray adhesive, blowing the sand on...and a sealer...... Quote

XNtr3k Posted August 6, 2008 Report Posted August 6, 2008 Real sand would be crazy if that works. We used to have a jar of black, volcanic sand from back when we lived in Hawaii, but I think it broke during a move and got all over the place and had to be thrown out. Quote
