E6000 is pretty strong once dried (usually leave at least 24hrs). For the shoulder straps not a problem but for other strapping on armor I would suggest using snaps and plates glued on with elastic attached to those, I've had a couple of straps stretch over time and it's easy to change them out with snaps attached ;)
