magni[TK] Posted July 18, 2017 Report Posted July 18, 2017 Glad to see you applying for EIB Robert! They're gonna need a few more pictures. Outside and inside of thigh ammo pack, sniper knee left and right side. Cod rivet and butt snaps. I'd show shoulder straps and elastic also. Maybe I'm missing something else. Sly or Tony will let you know. Your side gap looks good, you just need to line up left side. It shifted on you. And tighten up those shoulder bells. They should be up against strap. Good Luck Robert! Soon the NEG will have another EIB! 1 Quote

ukswrath[Staff] Posted August 1, 2017 Report Posted August 1, 2017 Hey Robert, thank you for your patience and EIB application. Let's get started. CRL and EIB Application Requirements: All the required submission photos have been posted. Beautiful job on your armor build. Andrew and myself would like to welcome you to Expert Infantry Other-Armor Fit/Assembly: In this section we review observations made by your fellow troopers and ourselves. Some observations may lead to suggestions to improve the overall look of your armor. If any suggestion affects any application, it will be listed separately in the above or below sections. We have a few areas to go over here so get to it. Starting at the top and working our way down, we thank you updating the Anovos helmet ear screws and frown . The only other suggestion would be to clean up the vcoder paint lines. They should be a bit more uniformed. Reference photo Next is the shoulder bell to chest and back plate gap which should be very minimal. Tightening the straps draw them in closer. Reference photo Another area mention by one of you fellow troopers is your sniper knee. If you can remove it without damaging it we suggest you position it so that it runs parallel with the shin itself. This doesn't have to be perfect we're just concerned may dig into your knee cap while trooping. Reference photo A minor repair would be to ensure the forearm to bicep gap should be equal. Other than that arms look great. Reference photo And finally, we're sure this is nothing however, be mindful of the calf closure. Your's appears to be separating as seen here. Centurion Suggestions: In this section we prepare you for Centurion. If there were any areas of concern they would be discussed here. The only area of concern is the drop box alignment. According the the CRL they are to be aligned with the outer most edge of the waist ammo belt. Simply gluing the drop box strap to the cloth belt usually remedy's this issue. Reference photo The left ab/kidney rivets are in the wrong locations. Red dots illustrate where they should be. There are numerous build threads illustrating where they should be placed. If you need some guidance please let us know. Reference photo Alright Robert, that's it. Very nice work on your build, hope to see you at Centurion. Quote
