6/24/17 - Star Wars Night at the Tampa Bay Rays

 

5 TK's of the Tampa Bay Squad were called out to film a promotional video to be used on the Jumbotron during Star Wars Night at the Rays.  These are a couple of stills from that appearance:

 

 

 

In case you're wondering, I'm the one wearing white.  OK that doesn't help, I'm the tallest of the troopers in this little group!

7/4/17 - Safety Harbor 4th of July Parade - Safety Harbor, FL

 

17 members of the Tampa Bay Squad came out for this small 4th of July parade in our community.  As usual, the Empire was a crowd pleaser and we even brought along a few Rebels to show we are equal opportunity!

 

 

Clearly we stand for truth, justice, and the Imperial way!

 

 

That's me rocking the star!

 

 

And last but not least, my valiant attempt to recruit my daughter (AKA Jyn Erso) over to our side with the promise of cookies:

7/23/17 - Kid's Day - Tampa, FL

 

We were asked to appear at a local gathering of younglings, I assume to round up potential new cadets.  As you can see we rounded up the usual suspects and proceeded to the event:

 

 

I was quite surprised at the number of bug-human hybrids present at a youngling event, so I did the only responsible thing and challenged the spider one to a dance off:

 

 

 

We showed the locals what Vader's Fist really means and of course there was a bit of jealousy in the ranks:

 

 

 

At the end of the day though, we did manage to recruit one new trooper:

Always one of our most important missions, a visit to the children's hospital. We brought an extremely varied contingent with us, but I'm easy to pick out as the lone Stormtrooper.



We got a lot of smiles but this is my favorite.
