LIZ! OMG it looks great the hand painting is amazing! Though it sucks that you dropped the can of paint all over your self I'm clutsy like that too so don't worry What else do you need to finish this beaut off? Awesome work keep it up chicky

I've done quite abit to mine since those photos. Hand painted most of it (Doesn't help with shakey hands, lol) Still not done though, i'm too slow, lol.

And Neil, I haven't finished mine 100% either - I have the vocoder to repaint since the cat-hair-all-over-it incident and some black lines to paint over the rear vent decals. And then some better padding for the inside

Haven't done the vocoder either on mine thinking about it, lol. Need to repaint some lines on mine aswell, bit wonky, lol. I'm not gonna bother with padding though, gonna have mine for display i think.

Hey everyone ..

These are great lids .. but!

 

I think you need to remove much more material in the eyes .. that lip that we see is not supposed to be there. Also, Liz, make sure to remove much more from the ears also .. I know it seems weird since you already have a gap but you'll need to take off more in the upper corner so that the concave curve gets on your lid tubes.

 

Trim more little by little and you'll get the results!!!

Don`t be affraid to remove enough around the eyes .. a lot of the current build threads currently going have people letting too much in the eyes .. there`s a lot of reference everywhere on this site to check!
