tkendo Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 Sooo... at the time it didn't seem to look bad but I think I went a little out of the lines so to speak. My question is how bad is it and how can I fix it? Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk Quote
Starfox2010 Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 (edited) your teeth are fine, just have to remove the paint around it. maybe someone can chime in on removing it, I was able to whipe and scrape off but this was soon after painting. Edited May 24, 2017 by Starfox2010 1 Quote

Troopacoola[TK] Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 Some white spirit on a q tip will remove the excess paint buddy. Here's my lid and how the teeth look 1 Quote
justjoseph63[Staff] Posted May 24, 2017 Report Posted May 24, 2017 The q-tip is the way to go. Be careful when using mineral spirits.. the ones that contain acetone will dissolve the ABS. It may take some time, but will be well worth the effort. 3 Quote
tkendo Posted May 24, 2017 Author Report Posted May 24, 2017 Thanks! I'll clean it up and post back. Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk 1 Quote
ABS80 Posted May 25, 2017 Report Posted May 25, 2017 you also need to cut out the teeth bigger, still too much material around. 1 Quote
tkendo Posted May 25, 2017 Author Report Posted May 25, 2017 The mineral spirits works great with a little elbow grease. Was able to get the paint off back to the teeth area and I'm going to make the holes a little bit bigger and repaint. Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk Quote
tkendo Posted June 4, 2017 Author Report Posted June 4, 2017 Widened the teeth and scraped off more paint. Getting ready to repaint the teeth. Sent from my SM-G935R4 using Tapatalk Quote
